Amazing! Really extracts the flavor out of the coffee beans 🫘
I’m very impressed with this high extraction portafilter basket. It really extracts the flavor from my coffee beans compared to the oem basket that comes with my espresso machine and it tastes amazing! It feels high quality and it was nice that it comes with a puck screen too. I love all normcore products if only they could sponsor me and my coffee gear addiction haha 🤣 the one downside to this basket is that it’s a snug fit and it’s very hard to take out of my portafilter compared to the oem one. Although it’s not a problem for me as I can use an another basket to pop it out.

Great basket
Normcore never fails to great extractions and great flavor. It took several adjustments to get this right and you can always make minor adjustments to tweak the flavor. The included paper filters work great at keeping the basket holes clear in between shots. Universal fit works with all of my portafilters which is great.

Good quality and price. Higher extractions than stock baskets.
Nice quality high expectation basket. Delivers tasty espresso shots. Basket is a little thicker than stock baskets and might rub a little when locking in or removing the portafilter from the group head. You’ll need to grind a little finer to slow down the extraction. The main complaint is that coffee grounds get stuck to the baskets rectangular holes and take some time to remove. Not great if you’re making multiple back to back shots and need to clean the basket. Still happy with the purchase. Good quality reasonable priced.

Great flavors, must have!
This definitely brings your espresso game to the next level, absolutely no reason to have one of these! One thing to note, is that it's a bit more difficult to clean and get all of the coffee grounds out, but it's honestly not that big of a deal, just spend an extra 30 seconds or so to get it all out, a million percent worth it.

Amazing filter!
I bought a week ago a different brand of filter. It worked, but not without struggle. Obviously when I got this brand my coffee was already set in the machine after trying different shots. This filter only took 2 shots to set the perfect shot of coffee. The first one to see where I was, and the second one to do the perfect shot. It was that simple! It took me about 6 shots with the other filter although the distance between adjusting the grinder was just relatively close. So only two tries with this one. One of the best filters for espresso. Very smooth and fancy! By the way, I am using Breville Bambino and the filter fits a bit tide, keep that in mind, and a disclaimer if you use it but the filter works great!!

High quality, bad performance.
First of all, the basket doesn't fit in machine nicely. I'm not sure what factor is causing this, possibly the lip of the basket being too high. In order to have it fit snug in the group head, I have to give it an extra tug that would have me a little concerned if I had to do every day just to get the portafiler in. The basket is a well constructed and high quality piece of equipment, but it lacks the hole size and overall flow rate that other precision baskets do. My first issue with the basket is that the holes are too large and cause a significantly high flow rate. Even though the holes are very precise, I had to majorly overcorrect my grind size a lot finer in able to achieve the same flow rate than that of the stock basket that came with my machine (Rocket Appartamento). Due to the overcorrection, the flow of espresso still came in very runny and under-extracted, lacking the fully body and balanced taste that a well extracted shot has. I compared the basket along with the stock basket as well as the Weber Workshops 20g Unibasket. Overall, its a well constructed piece of gear, the holes just need to be smaller to get anywhere in the ballpark of balanced extraction achievable from other high-end baskets. If you're in the market for high extraction basket that is going to be remotely "cheap," go for a Weber. I have a great respect for Normcore and have several of their products, but this one was a miss for me.

Great basket except for one issue
I bought this basket to fit a 58mm bottomless portafilter for my Gaggia Classic Pro. The basket does provide a noticeably higher extraction and flow rate (due to larger holes), and upon close inspection the basket seems to be machined well. It’s on the tall side (28.5mm I think) for 18-22g baskets, so it should be able to pull 20-22g shots unless you are using a thick puck filter AND have a protruding center shower screen screw (which you can replace with a low profile countersink screw). Since I have this issue, I can only pull 18-19g shots without denting or bending the puck screen (the Normcore 58.5 one). Anyway, the ONE issue with this basket is that espresso grounds easily get caught and clog the holes, as you can see from my photo. This is how many grounds I got after pulling only one shot and rinsing under the tap. This is why it comes with a stack of paper filters. You REALLY are forced to use these filters on the bottom of your basket for every shot, otherwise you will be scrubbing the basket with a fine brush after every single shot (or using a partially clogged basket, which is even worse). In my opinion, this is a design flaw. If you don’t mind using the paper filters on the bottom, though, it won’t be an issue.

Le filtre fonctionne bien mais impossible de le mettre dans le porte filtre gaggia classic evo pro et très difficile à enlever sir d'autres portes filtres. Probablement adapté aux produits Normcore.

Good quality it does really improve the extraction I use it with the normcore 54mm bottomless portafilter it looks really nice, the only thing that I can say that is little downside is that when cleaning it after making a coffee not all coffee bits come out from the holes/groves but not a big deal properly because of the type of coffee beans. But I recommend this product a bit expensive but wroth it for the high quality.

Parcel arrived without any box just plastic wrapped. The puck screen included was dented and the filter paper that was supposed to be included was not shipped.
