Exciting from start to finish, as usual! Can’t wait for the next one.I love the casual cultural references and the bond between all the characters. Can’t wait for the three to power up! I also love the relationship Orlando builds with his readers and the opportunities he offers for us to be involved - and that he loves Pratchett as much as me.

As usual full of twist and turns getting more exciting as book progresses really enjoyed this book can't wait for more books

Love the story arc of this series. It's like another great episode of your favourite tv/movie series.

Wasn't sure what this series was about but was booked from the first book. The interplay between the characters and the real life humour in the dark parts of their struggle makes it a more believable world. Waited for this book to become available and read it in two days. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Another great book in this series,can't wait for them to level your against the Grand council.This story just keeps getting better and better.Soon it will be the confrontation that we all been eating for.

Pacing and character development were top-notch. Just enough snark, which leavened an otherwise intense story rather than distracting from it. I can't wait for the convo with Hades in a future book.

Wow. Just. Wow. This book is intense from the first page til the last page. It starts with Simon and Peaches having to run a training course at Dex's school. Soon Dex's sends them home with a dire warning that trouble is coming for him and it will come after them too. Simon and Monty are visited by a Magistrate and by the time he reads his edict they realize they are Outcasts. The ten step in to help showing that they are not bound by the edict. The conversation between Simon and Grey's about Grey's coffee made me laugh.This book has light, laugh out loud moments, intense you need to keep reading moments, what the neck just happened moments. Orlando Sanchez is an amazing story teller. When I realized I was at the end my first thought was NO I don't want it to be the end.I highly recommend that you read this book. I recommend you read everything written by Orlando Sanchez. I can't wait for the next S,M&P book.

Simon, Peaches and Monty are challenged yet again to survive another death threat from a super powerful group who fears the trio are becoming too powerful. There is a lot of dodging assassination attempts and they are helped by allies. The final showdown gives a satisfying end to the book.

The book was wonderfully paced. I read about 2-3 books a week and Sanchez is the best storyteller in the business. This book weaves a great story as the teams world gets amped by more powerful enemies and friends. Bravo. Can’t wait for the next.
