The watch works great with the pre-installed SIM card.
I got this watch for my kid. Overall, the watch works great with the pre-installed SIM card. However, after I activated the SIM card, there was no signal when I first turned it on. Once I restarted it, I was able to bundle it with the app, and everything started to work. It allows me to call, text, and locate my kid. Very useful and high-quality. Highly recommended!

A safe way to learn and play
The kid’s watch didn’t come alone. It also includes a cute lanyard to hang the watch around the neck, a screen protector (with one already applied), a charging cable, and a quick guide that clearly states there's no need to download any app - children can use it straight away. When I turned it on, I was greeted by a friendly hello, a cheerful sound and a colorful background. I swipe left and right to navigate the menu, slide up and down to return to scroll, and press the power button to return to a previous menu.On the main screen, I discovered swiping left and right changes the watch face, and I noticed there are many options, including some animated ones. Sliding up reveals what appears to be an application menu. The available apps include Camera, Photos, Video Player, Music, Recorder, Calculator, Calendar, Time Tools, Habit Tracking, Camera Sticker, Torch, Theme, Pedometer, Learn Card, Audiobook, Story, Games, and Settings. In the settings, I can adjust brightness, volume, date, time, and time format. There’s also an Advanced Settings section, where I can change the language, check storage capacity - my watch has 219.6 MB of free space out of a total of 479 MB - reset the wallpaper, or even reset the entire watch. Parental control options allow me to set a time range for usage, but I find it unnecessary. I’d rather let children play and learn with the watch whenever they want. I haven’t found any questionable content on the watch, and since it’s not connected to the internet, I believe it’s more than safe.I have to admit, the watch seems entertaining. It has a variety of games like table tennis, soccer, 2048, whack-a-mole, maze, and many more. Additionally, it comes preloaded with bedtime stories with audio, audiobooks, and learning cards where the names of objects are displayed and read aloud, helping children learn the word and its correct pronunciation. The pedometer works, showing how many steps have been walked. The Camera Sticker app is fun, allowing kids to add stickers to their faces in real-time and take pictures. There are also practical functions, such as a calculator, an alarm, a stopwatch, and a timer. The voice recorder could be particularly useful for note-taking at school. The regular camera app is used to take pictures, while the Videos app is for recording videos. To view photos or videos, I simply enter the respective apps.I charge the watch through the micro USB port on the left side, which is protected by a rubber lid. When I press the power button, a battery icon indicates that it’s charging. I’ve had the watch for over a month now and have not experienced any issues, even during rough play and handling.

I give it 100 out of 100 - my six-year old daughter
I got this watch for my daughter, so I interviewed her about what she likes about it. She likes to "play games and stuff with it." "Pink for a win!" - so she likes the color. If my daughter is happy, I'm happy! The watch seems pretty hardy and has stood up to a six year old. It keeps her entertained.

Great for a toddler!
I got this watch for my nephew who is learning to tell time and to learn how time is related to his daily schedule. It is a great little product for just that. The cjc Smart Watch for Kids is a nice product that packs a small, simple computer onto the wrist. In its compact package, it actually packs a lot of functionality while having a colorful theme that kids love. I'm actually surprised at how much there is for kids to discover on this watch!Upon waking the watch, an analog watch face is presented. A single tap shows the digital clock. This helps toddlers to practice reading the analog clock and tapping on the face will help them to verify whether they got it right.A third tap takes the user into a bunch of activities and functions. There is a front-facing camera that can take pictures and videos, music player, voice recorder, pedometer, calculator, calendar, and a flashlight. Those are just the basic functions that are great to have but there are also many kid-friendly activities! There are flashcards with numbers, letters, animals, etc for kids that are learning to read. The kids will love listening to audiobook stories such as Alice in Wonderland and Little Red Riding Hood. Of course, there are also a bunch of games built in that can be played with the touch screen.Kids will definitely get a kick out of this watch and there is so much for them to dig through. For my nephew, he is also learning about his schedule throughout the day. When bath time comes around, he can look at his watch and see what time that is. Great stuff!

Cute and educational!
I was VERY shocked and pleased to see how educational and helpful this smartwatch is! I figured this would be a primarily games and some educational aspects kinda watch for my son but it is NOT! It is the other way around! It is mainly educational and good for things like, a bedtime story, or the pedometer, and more! I DO like that is has a camera on it so that IF my boy wanted to he could take easy and convenient photos! This also has a music feature to it as well! I also love the lanyard that came with it too! That is huge for when my son is having a sensory issue day and yet still wants his watch with and or on him! OH~ I forgot to mention! This comes WITH screen protectors as well! Which is HUGE because I also forgot to mention this is a TOUCH SCREEN watch! SO uuhh I HIGHLY recommended putting the screen protector on!
