Right amounts. Right types of vitamins. Made in USA. Ignore the negative reviews.
These vitamins have the right amounts and the right types of vitamins (beta carotene instead of retinyl pamitate for example).I researched what vitamins and what amounts a pregnant woman needs and then went looking for a product that met my findings--I then became extremely frustrated.... Until I found this brand. Some people have written negative reviews on this product based on factors I consider inconsequential, such as size of the tablet, smell, etc. While it's true that if you can't stand to take it it's not going to do any good at all, I sincerely hope no one is discouraged from this brand because of those reviews because from the research I did, this is the BEST prenatal vitamin on the market. It has the right types of vitamins, in the right amounts, and no extra stuff like colorings or herbs, which are not beneficial. And I can tell you from experience, having taken this brand every day of my last pregnancy, these pills were very easy for me to take (size and shape of a pumpkin seed), and they're not any smellier than any other vitamins. I had mild nausea through about 24 weeks, and I could easily stomach these. Steamed broccoli? No. These vitamins, piece of cake.Whatever you do, please try to find a prenatal vitamin that has beta carotene as the source of vitamin A and preferably less than 100% daily recommended allowance.God bless! :-)

Can't have added calcium due to kidney diseas....
I have Chronic Kidney Disease and went into kidney failure during my first pregnancy because they found out too late that I have a problem digeting calcium and it cause massive stones to form. So when I decided to try for pregnancy #2 I needed to find a prenatal that didn't have calcium. After reading the reviews, even with the foul smell warning, these are by far the best option on the market for anyone who cannot ingest added calcium.Biggest issue: Yes, the smell is very strong. It isn't foul, it is very very VERY sweet smelling, think sweet potatoes on steroids. But this doesn't bother me as I just have my water prepared and open the bottle, get a pill, close the bottle, and take the pill while holding my breath. There is no nasty burps, only slight nausea which is why I take them at night. I take an omega-3 supplement with this before I go to bed. The omega is BY FAR worse than the prenatals with smell and serious fish burps!

No more searching for a good prenatal vitamin!
These vitamins are the easiest to take that I have tried, by a long way. I did start out with a nice multivitamin/multimineral that was huge and I had to take it three times a day. I switched to Flintstones chewables after choking on the other multi a couple times. However, once morning sickness started, I could not tolerate the strong flavor of Flintstones any more, so I was back to searching for a swallow-able prenatal. I stumbled across Pregnancy Plus Prenatal while looking for morning sickness relief, and ordered a bottle to try. They are very inexpensive for a quality vitamin since each bottle is a two-month supply. I will not be looking for another vitamin; these are perfect. These are very small (they remind me of a pumpkin seed) and smoothly coated, so they are easy to swallow. Since they have no calcium in them (part of why they are so little), you can choose to take calcium in whatever way you like. The vitamins do have a vitamin odor, but I never smell or taste them after taking them. Even with morning sickness I was able to tolerate these. Since I only need to take one a day, it is very easy to remember to take. I have ordered these more than once. The vendor I received them from packed them well and they arrived quickly.

Great multivitamin if you are pregnant or not!
I started taking these when I was trying to get pregnant. I never did get pregnant, but I've continued to take these vitamins for over 5 years now. I have problems swallowing pills, and these are so easy to swallow. The smell is strong in the bottle, but I usually take my pill with my first bite of dinner to help make it easier to swallow. They are perfect for a multivitamin if you are pregnant or not. The reason they are so small is because there is no calcium in them, so if you are pregnant get another supplement or eat more dairy. But as a general vitamin they are awesome. I continue to buy them over and over again.
