Worst every kitchen appliance purchase. Bought it with so much excitement. It got delivered within a couple of days and the lid wouldnt open. Tried multiple times, watched videos but no luck. I thought ok, defective product let me reach out to customer care. The landline number is out of service and the whatsapp number no one responds to. I contacted amazon customer care and ordered a replacement. It got promptly delivered within a day. I managed to open this one and had fun cooking one full day with it. Next day morning I try cooking in it, I get an E4 error, I refer to the manual and it says contact customer care. Thankfully Amazon has accepted a return. What a joke of a product and brand this is. If you respect your mental sanity and peace, please stay away from this.

Guys, if there's any solid reason you need to invest in Pigeon's electric pressure cooker it is because of no annoying steam bursts. I've tried several brands of pressure cookers, but eventually, they all have issues with steam bursts. This is very upsetting because all the nutritious liquid and masalas overflow and there is so much waste. Moreover, this creates such a mess for cleaning around. We have to clean the gas, the burners, the drip tray, and the area under the cooktop too. I was so surprised to see nothing of this BS happening in this fantastic EPC. No steam burst, no messy clean-ups, no annoying whistle sounds, and the inner pot is made from stainless steel and is so easy to clean. And the food cooked is tasty and gives consistent results every time. The other day, my sister was complaining about the same thing, and I immediately asked her to buy Pigeon's EPC which is not only stylish and sturdy but also reasonably priced. The product malfunctioned within a month of usage and had to be taken to the service centre, which is still lying with them for over a month now and no updates: > the experience to reach customer service was difficult even for a tech friendly person > the service centre was filthy and unprofessional to attend > there were no receipts for service or product submission or kind of repair needed > there were no explanation to the fault and the product had to taken back again the next day after have received from repair the first time > the product is still with the service centre with no updates and timelines on the product and not even the refund or replacement, with less than month old defective product. The only advice I can give is put a little less water in the inner pot when you are making gravies otherwise gravy will become watery.
