Bright and easy to install
This light is ready to go out of the box, just turn it on, slide it over the threaded bolt at the top of the flagpole, attach the finial, and you're ready to roll. It has a light sensor so it automatically goes on at dusk and off at dawn. It gives off a lot of light, so it illuminates our flag and the path below. We love it. Highly recommended.

Does not stay lit
We’ve had sunny days for the last 5 days and this light only stays lit for about 6 hours.I guess it takes a while to get fully charged. It is now staying lit all night.

7 hour battery life
Worked fine for the first month or so. Now it only stays lit for about 7 hours, even after a full day of charging without a cloud in the sky. The last 2 to 3 hours of the morning before the sun comes up my flag is in complete darkness. Pictures aren’t the greatest from my ring camera but you can clearly see it lit at 3am and nothing at 4am. Starts getting dark this time of year around 8pm-830pm. Not recommended…

Nice upgrade
The new Sirius solar light is a great upgrade from the older version. The light is much brighter and installs easily. The light is a bit larger and about 1/4 inch higher. I contacted Service First and ordered the new gold ball which is now 1 piece design. Perfect fit, secure installation for years of dependable service.
