Steelgrip Fat Bar Grips for Dumbbell and Barbell, Thick Silicone Arm Blasters Strength Training - Perfect for Bodybuilding, Weightlifting

I got these not for barbell or dumbbell training, but for use on a pair of human flag handles I have mounted on a post outside. I wanted to thicken up the grip when practicing both the pole-style and rung-style holds, and for this purpose, these Steelgrip collars work really well.Pros:- Will accommodate skinny bars and even relatively thick bars. The rungs on my handles are 2cm thick, while the pole bars are 3.7 cm, and I get a good fit on both.- Only 10cm long vs. the more common length of around 12cm (which would be too long for my equipment)- Provides a comfortable non-slip hold- Didn't cost the earthCons:None to note so far.

Bought for use on a pull up bar that had no padding. They are comfortable but do slip round when used in this way (not what they were designed for) however they are still effective and are easily fitted and removed. They appear well made and are very heavy duty but I can imagine they could split at the glued seam after multiple uses - time will tell.

They are OK in that they don't stink like some others.I did not receive the ebook, so??They are thinner than fatgripz, but are good for the price in comparison.As I said, no rubber smell, firm grip.

Really great product. Didn't get any guide with it as promised but never mind. Great for adding another dimension to your training. Should have bought these years ago!!

Highly recommend these, you can really feel the difference, the workout is completely different and for me it’s so much less stress on the elbows. Also well made product

These grips i would say are indeed silicone and as such are too flexible,Another issue as noted by other reviews is that they offer very little grip to the bar they are gripping to. I was using a 1 inch bar and the bar was rotating within the grip.I had to buy crossfit tape to wrap around bar to stop the movement. Ive since used iron bull strength grips which are more pricey but definately worth the extra money.These steel grips were bought for a set of dumbbells that have a small handle that fat gripz wont fit onto. I mite use these in pure gym as they have similar dbs with small handles that fatbgripz dont fit onto.I short id recommend any other grip not made from silicone that has little flex as they tend to grab the bar better with little to no slip

As a woman with pretty small hands (the same size as my 14 year old niece's) I was worried these wouldn't quite work for me. But luckily that hasn't been an issue. My grip strength has always left room for improvement and I'm so glad I went for these.I used them the day they arrived, jumped right into my usual upper body routine and was shocked how much of a difference they instantly made. I had to lower the weight for every exercise.I broke my wrist about 6 years ago and have struggled with that ever since, and the exercises I found I couldn't use the grips with were bench and shoulder press. I use dumbbells so this may not be the case with a barbell, but exercises that involved adjusting the angle of my wrist at all hurt like hell with the grips. Bicep curls of any style weren't an issue as my hand and wrist remain static and in line with my forearm. Just a heads up for anyone with a wrist or hand injury.Really impressed by these affordable grips, and I'd highly recommend them, regardless of your hand size.

The grips work amazingly. Easy to put on and fit on most if not all dumbbells/barbells. Definitely add an extra challenge and really incorporate your forearms. I've used them a few times already and my forearms and biceps feel crazy afterwards, and my grip strength has definitely improved. Definitely recommend!
