I am a novice at this stuff. Never had a security cam before. But, for an entry level cam, this WYZE OG totally rocks! Setup was relatively simple, and it has all the necessary functions the average homeowner needs. I have it connected to my Android phone and my iPad via the appropriate apps. Connection to Wi-Fi was simple, and 256gb micro card (not included) is sufficient. Our router is about 15 feet away through 1 wall. It face detects, package delivery detection, vehicle detection, mic and speaker, notifications too. Now, I did opt for the subscription to get all the features, but $20/year is a small price. It captures pics, videos and can live stream. Instant notifications of movement, sound, people and vehicles. The color is great day or night (low light). 120 degree field of view is good enough for us, and resolution seems great. We can see our front porch, walkway, driveway and the cul-de-sac street. Granted, we may not be able to read distant license plates, but that’s not a deal breaker. More expensive security cameras may have higher resolution to pick those up, but for a beginner, this WYZE OG is beyond expectations. Two pics are from live streaming daytime and nighttime. Excellent price and quality. Very satisfied with this company and their cameras. The app is quite useful and very user friendly. Image quality is great and night vision is awesome. I have 10 of these cameras and I love them.

Super easy to function and connect. Amazing quality it keeps my home well secured. The picture clarity is amazing. The functionality of the camera is good and the connectivity as well. I recommend this item.

Summary is this is a great value for the price. Pros include, very small footprint, very easy to connect and install, good daylight picture quality and "OK" night vision. It is a fixed position camera but can be adjusted for just about any desired angle. I was hesitant to buy because they emphasize this is a "plug-in" camera. That can imply that it is not WIFI connectable and requires ethernet cable. But it is easily WIFI connectable and only requires a USB cable to "plug-in" for power. The Cons are it probably has a lot of features but you'll have to pay a significant subscription fee to access. And, they are not bashful to let you know. Practically everything you click in the app takes you to a pay to use sign-up page. You can record motion detection for free on a micro SD card. But the videos are very short, has significant lag time and you may likely miss what actually triggered the alarm. I'd actually prefer that they adjust purchase price to include basic features, the constant "begging" is annoying. But if you want a decent quality fixed camera that you can live stream, it's hard to beat for the money.

We got this camera to use as a makeshift baby cam for my son. When he naps he likes to sleep on the couch and from time to time we will have some chores to finish up in the other room. The connection speed from my phone to the camera is very quick and the image quality is outstanding. I have google cameras outside and in the garage and I would say that the video quality of these is much better. The price is also MUCH better than what you pay for google cameras. The app isn't quite as integrated as the google one is but we don't need it to do a lot since it's just used for nap times. There is about a 2-3 second delay from live action to what you see on your phone. It can record continuously and also be watched continuously on your phone with no interruption.The cord length is sufficient for our needs. Not really a downside for us but it is a USB A cord so that could be an issue for others not using the included power adapter. The app is good enough for what we need, and since I don't use it a lot I can't speak to all of its features and functions.WYZE has made a name for itself and you aren't going to find a better camera in this price range anywhere else.

Easy set up and works well. I do have a problem with their trouble shooting. Contacted them on a problem with another one of their products and they never addressed the issue. I won't buy anything from them again.

I've used Wyze products for a long time. This OG cam is good for someone new to security cameras or if you just want to cover those blind spots you still have around your home or business. Having one set up in the dark corner viewing my front door makes it easy to see who and when someone comes up to the door or front windows. Another set in the living room to keep track of whats happening inside also. The night vision is very clear and if there is low light it will record in color too. The built in spotlight and alarm are also handy to help scare off anyone who might be prowling around too. It's a simple camera at a reasonable price with no required subscription.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these cameras as a two pack. They came in their own little individual boxes and had everything a customer needs to set them up. It was extremely easy to mount to the corner of the wall next to my front door. They swivel and move to get a good and clear angle of what you want to look at. The camera quality was up to par and made it easy to watch the live feed. At times it the scanner would not pick up on certain movements or wouldn’t ding certain things. However, the app gives you the option to send feedback right then and there while watching a clip. It connects to WiFi soooo easy I love it. One downside is you’ll need to subscribe in other to look at live videos. If you don’t subscribe, you’ll be limited to only seeing “stills” of the motions. The night vision is great too. Two way audio so you can talk to whoever is at the door or wherever you set it up. Has MANY cool features on the app to tailor your cameras to what you set up and alarms you like. Worth every penny!

Supero mis espectativas, execelente imagen, buen sonido de retroalimentación, tiene funciones que otras cámaras no por ejemplo luz adicional para ver imágenes a color en modo noche y alarma. Es fácil de instalar y configurar.
