An informative and easy read. I generally steer clear of books like this as I find they tend to over complicate the whole investing process. This book is different! It’s clear/ easy to read and humorous in places. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this book. It was the first book about investing in the stock market I ever bought, as I would be nervous even thinking about the stock market. I would like to give it a try but wouldn’t know where to start - this book has taught me what to look for in a company, when to invest in their stock and most importantly, when to sell! Love the greyhound accompanying the author on his journey! Definitely recommend it!

Very interesting

I found this book simple to understand and written from real world experience, a rare thing with investment books. It had excellent real world examples of actual trades and the reasons to buy or sell were outlined in easy to understand metrics that I could replicate.

I absolutely loved this book.I find a lot of books on investment a) very dry, they're like reading textbooks - great for putting you to sleep but little else, hard to concentrate on, and b) very idealistic and preachy, do X and Y will happen, author knows it all and never makes any mistakes etc.. This book is the perfect antidote for that - it's full of humour and real-life experience, it explains an aspect of investment and the author then details some of his own forays into the market, some successful, some unsuccessful relating to it, and explains his understanding of the results achieved.In an Instagram world with everything photoshopped to look perfect, it's very refreshing when someone lays their mistakes out on the table so others can learn from them, and it's very helpful to see their thinking for both productive and failed investments honestly and openly laid out. The author is often very successful and of course that's educational too, but personally, I tend to learn more from mistakes than successes so I love that the author hasn't shied away from his own in this book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It has lots of humour throughout and comes across as genuine. The author shares his failures as well as his successes making the successes credible. Would recommend this book.
