had a issue with hardware broken got with the seller and got new hardware very fast the person i talked with was very consederate and was sorry for the issue i would recomend this product and company very highly and would buy again

This things a real piece of garbage. I'm a very skilled installer, as in I built my entire house. Put this up to keep the dogs from going in the basement so it doesn't get used like when I had gates for kids on the stairs and the thing has pretty much fallen apart in three months. The plastic pieces are not well made, they don't keep the gate at a set width so I'm constantly adjusting it. The latch piece sucks, to open it I literally just kicked it open. Good in that none of the plastic broke but it really is finicky.

This gate was easily installed, is very sturdy and can swing either direction. It comes with stoppers so if you needed it over stairs, it would just swing the direction you want it to. This is for a hallway and to keep poodles separated who can't cohabitate, lol! I love that there is nothing to step over, like with tension gates and I can easily roll a laundry basket through, instead of having to lift it over. It's amazing how something so simple can really make one's life easier! I highly recommend it.

I have 2 of these gates, and I'm generally happy with them. The second gate came with a slightly bent pin so the bottom doesn't latch correctly. The gate is not in a dangerous spot though so I guess that's fine.

It does the job but It’s not a single hand To open and close as per claimed in the descriptions, it also says this one is 23”-48”. Ours were 48” and it was short. We made it work by instead of following the safety instruction of 2 bars to clip for safety (you’d know when you get one), we only managed to do 1 bar to clip. We received a slightly rust stained one per picture I uploaded but I don't want to go through trouble of returning and asking for new one, I just wish quality check was done before delivery and that they should be more accurate by saying it’s only 23”-46” wide for safety.

I'm a DIY'er, but this wasn't easy. First of all, very poor installation instructions. You need to look at the diagrams and figure out how the pieces all go together on your own. Other issues: One of the eight screws was defective (had no point); easy to pinch your fingers while snapping the connectors in place; very challenging to get the cover off of the top hinge piece. Seems pretty sturdy however.

We ordered this gate when my son started moving around In his walker. It is not obnoxious looking like a lot of baby gates. It is sturdy enough that I’m not nervous about my son pulling at it when he gets older. But MOST IMPORTANTLY I came to write a review about the customer service! My babysitter broke the latch, I don’t know how she managed to do it! Anyway, I called customer service and left a message. I received a call back within an hour. They sent me a replacement part (free of charge, no questions asked!) and I received it within 3 days! So on top of a quality product the customer service is outstanding!

Wow! I wasn't expecting much because the price was so reasonable but the gate went together easily and is sturdy and attractive too. We are using it for our dogs and for our 2 year old grandson when he comes over. The gate opens and closes smoothly and latches securely. It's perfect for what we need it for. Good quality good price.

Es una protección buena, solo hay que considerar las medidas mínimas y máximas para saber si puede ser instalable en nuestro espacio. Es perfecto para escaleras porque a diferencia de otros, este se atornilla en la pared, dando soporte y seguridad. El seguro para abrir/cerrar es excelente y no es complicado para un adulto, pero para un peque no es fácil.

Se nos dificultó la instalación ya que las medidas de los patrones son un poco confusas. Una de las tuercas se barrió y ya no se pudo instalar correctamente.

Compramos la puerta con dudas por los comentarios que vimos pero el día que llegó mi esposo lo instaló y no tuvo problemas. Tenemos otra puertita northstates para mi gusto está es un poco más complicado el sistema de cierre pero es de buena calidad y cumple su función.
