Can symphony hi cool air cooler works well without damage to product even having no water in it?

of course it would work without any water but cooling effect will not be there and there is a fan mode that works even without water

Room size is 150 sq ft..will this work without refilling, throughout night

My Cooler is spreading WATER instead of AIR. So I found Water Tank emptied at around 2 AM.

does it come with warranty?

Yes, One Year Warranty, but I found it of no use. Local Symphony Service centre asked for visiting and servicing charges even it is under warranty period.My cooler's pannel board was stop functioning after a month of use and after struggling for 4 months with Symphony Service they replace it but with old pannel and two buttons of it are not working. Very POOR Service.

why it is called HI - COOL ? what is the difference between diet cooler and this one. Will Humidity controller help to reduce humidity ?(from chennai)

h!Cool-i is just a fancy name, and this is not an AC. Humidity controller....huh... is just a knob regulating water flow from water pump and its not automatic.Remember this a Evaporative Cooler. The key to effectively cooling your home with an evaporative cooler is hot, dry air such as what is found in desert areas. In fact, evaporative coolers are most effective during the hottest times of the day and when humidity levels are below 50 percent.In your area Humidity Level is already above 70%, ie too Humid. This Cooler is not for you.
