Fast, cheap and works like a charm. Highly recommeneded.
This really is good value for money and works perfectly in Windows 10. No drivers. BIOS happy too.Using Samsung 970 EVO NVME I get 3087mb/s read speed. It fits into the long PCI slot on the motherboard even though its a short card - so should work with most modern boards. My kit was missing the screw/nut set because it must have been a return item that someone forgot to put everything back in. So using an elastic and a spacer in the mean time to mount the drive while I wait for supplier to send me a replacement screw set.Why bother with USB versions of this.. just get this one for a 1/4 of the price.

Works great and gives new life to an old PC
I got this to upgrade my Girlfriend's PC. The Motherboard didn't have NVMe support built in and this was a great way to do it. The motherboard wasn't capable of booting from PCIe (the NVMe) but that's fine as I have a 250GB WD Blue M.2 SATA drive as the boot volume and a 1TB M.2 NVMe to hold all of her games. In this configuration it works great, I even managed to install Windows 11 with no issues. The Blue (NVMe) and Red (SATA) LEDs show drive activity and move across in a 'Knight Rider' style motion. It's quite mesmerising however not super useful unless you have the back of your PC visible all the time. However, it does light up the back of the PC quite nicely.

Read my fill review
I could not get it to work with my ssd. Having said that there are so many types with similar connectors I might not have the right ssd for this card. I would like to give a neutral star rating because it might not be the card's fault. Gave 3 stars as zero or five didn't seem right.

Perfect
Within 30 minutes of receiving the board it was running in my ASUS Z97-A Motherboard with a 1TB Crucial M.2 SATA card. All I can say is that it is well made, it works and works well. I would by another without a moment's hesitation.

Impressive.
Works very well. I have my O/S installed onto my M.2 device which is plugged in through this and the PC boots up so fast.

Doesn't work on Windows 7 Professional (SP1).
I received the Rivo Dual M.2 pci card today and attached my Samsung 970 EVO NVMe stick to it. All necessary fittings were supplied, though you will need a jeweller's crosshead screwdriver to fitted your NVMe stick to the Rivo card. When booting in to Windows 7, the card wasn't recognised. Device Manager shows it to be a unrecognised PCI device. The very limited instructions from RIVO do say that if this happens, you need to download a hotfix from Microsoft. Howeever, Microsoft have withdrawn that hotfix (See Microsoft KB2990941) for Windows 7 :(Rivo's very limited instructions also say to contact them for support, but there is no contact details listed in their instructions, or the packaging or on Amazon......So - the device is useless to me and I will return it.
