Lovely great value serum. If 10% niacinamide is irritating your skin try a 5% serum instead. This is more gentle and didn't break me out. I would buy this again

Amazing! I have combination/oily skin and scar very easily- this serum has already lightened some old scars and kept breakouts at bay! I’ve had possible 2 spots since trying this out for 3 weeks- which is a miracle for my skin!! Definitely going to buy again.

This serum has a thick milky consistency and takes a while to absorb into the skin unlike some other transparent serums that seem to dry faster generally, in my experience. Need to apply sparingly if you want to apply make up over it. A pump action dispenser makes it easy to apply exactly how much you want, I'm quite generous at night and not so in morning when I use a Retinol serum also. Leaves skin soft and feeling 'plump'. Early days on whether it fades blemishes

I’m so glad I took a chance on this product! I’d been suffering from an outbreak of cystic acne since the beginning of lockdown and was desperate to find a solution. I’ve been using this serum twice a day for less than a month and haven’t had a new cystic spot in weeks! My skin also feels incredibly smooth and hydrated- it glows!

It hydrates my skin, and makes my wrinkles smother, it doesn't block my pores. Good price, good service!

Have used a couple of eva products and recommend to my grown up daughters . Wished they had been about 40 years ago as I have had skin problems for years and at 55 it’s now the best it’s ever been . Thank you

This is my experience with the product, tou may or may not have the same result as me. First off, I did rely want to enjoy this product, but unfortunately it broke me out like nothing else has ever done before and my skin became incredibly irritated. I have used niacinamide for a long time now and this is the only product that has broken me out. Never had this kind of reaction, so obviously something in this formula my skin really disliked.

I have to admit I have no idea if this is working or not. I purchased this because I was looking for a product with the highest concentration of niacinamide, without being excessively expensive. This product has a mild smell, and is creamy (as opposed to many other serums I have tried that are more oily in nature). You only need the tiniest bit of the serum, which I apply after applying essence, for good coverage of the main areas of the face, so I suspect this bottle will last me many months. This product comes in a pump dispenser, which is a little stiff, and if I am no careful I end up squirting the product across the room. I find this extremely annoying, and actually would make me reconsider purchasing again, especially given there are a large number of competitive products in this price range. Niacinamide is supposed to be good for tightening pores, and lightening dark spots on skin. The first time I used this, my skin burned a little and was left pink and irritated. However, now I only notice a tiny tingle and no irritation. I honestly cannot tell if this is doing anything at all because I use this as a part of a ten step routine. I alternate use of this product with another serum, and have been doing so four weeks, and my skin is noticeably younger and firmer.

What I like about this product: no strong scent, nice feel going on skin, "cleaner" ingredients, seems to help with minor breakouts, moisturizing enough that I don't need to add an extra moisturizer on top. What I don't like: my skin feels slightly sticky after application (I've tried using varying amounts, but it always feels sticky), and it does not control the shine on my oily skin like some other niacinamide-containing products do. This product doesn't work very well for me, as I am looking for shine control. I do have very, very oily skin though, so it may work well for someone with skin less oily than mine.

This is more of a first impression's review as I've only been using the product for a little over a week (thus the 4 stars as i'm still trying it out) but thus far I'm pretty impressed. I have oily skin (likely due to dryness, yeah winter) that is highly acne prone (a bane of my existence) with the beginnings of inherited rosacea (the things your parents give you). So my skin always seems to be red and splotchy with random zits of varying sizes and types with an overall uneven skin texture due to scarring from a long battle with acne since I hit puberty (33 years old and still rocking that god awful teenage skin, Awesome). But I digress.The product came in a box with one of those little puffy plastic pillow things and was itself wrapped in bubble wrap which is appreciated as it's a glass bottle and comes with a pump nozzle. I had previously tried The Ordinary's Niacinamide serum that so many had raved about but was myself left underwhelmed by. The Ordinary's was a clear, runny serum that was best applied when the face was wet otherwise it would kind of sit on the skin and would flake off as it dried. Even on a wet face, if you let it sit for to long it would cause my moisturizer to pill up to such an extent that I was best off just washing it off and starting over without it (It didn't appear to be doing much anyway). In comparison, this serum is milky white with the consistency of almost a gel serum/ moisturizer hybrid. Wet or dry, it does a really good job of absorbing into the skin without leaving it feeling sticky or like it's drying on top of your skin and going nowhere fast. I haven't had a single issue with it pilling under my moisturizer regardless of how light or thick of a moisturizer I use. I've been going through a particularly rough patch with my skin with all kinds of breakouts and redness. I was using all of the normal acne zit products out there (salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide), which just did nothing. Anybody else have that happen? So I switched out products and am currently only using a Neutrogena AHA/BHA face wash at night and this serum also at night to deal with my acne and rosacea. As far a moisturizer goes I use Hado Labo's Tokyo line skin pumping gel cream for the hyaluronic acid component and Ceraves night gel moisturizer with their thicker moisturizer on top as an occlusive at night. 2 products for the acne issue and within a week my skin is clear and it's stayed clear. I'm hopeful I've found a winning combo for my skin and can continue to maintain my current "clarity" because believe me it's been a looonnngg time since my skin has been this clear (like pre-pubescent). As of right now I definitely plan to repurchase this serum. The one from the Ordinary? Not so much. Good job Eva Naturals.
