Knorks Works !
A lovely balanced feel in the hand. The cutting edge side is not too sharp as to cut your mouth. The weight of the Knork assists the division of food on the plate. Thoroughly Recommended.

Brilliant product
This makes it so easy to use just one hand if the other one is weak, brilliant

Really useful
It would be foolish to think you are buying a knife and fork as one utensil, there is no serrated edge. Okay it cuts through pastry and possibly fish like cod but I would never use it to cut through a steak or lamb chop. My occupational therapist suggested I try one because I was having trouble twirling spaghetti round a fork or transferring any food from the plate to my mouth. Peas were a total disaster. Two Knorks are shown on the left of the picture and two ordinary forks on the right.I have MS and holding an ordinary folk is no longer easy because it is light and thin so I do not know if or how I am holding it.Added to this it is very easy to drop.. A Knork is much chunkier better balanced and much easier to hold. If you are beginning to lose fine control of the fingers in a hand find and using an ordinary fork difficult than I would recommend a Knork because it is easier to grip and the hand knows what it is holding and how it is holding it.

Just a spoon with prongs
I bought these for my father for Christmas as he's had a stroke and can only use one hand to eat. However, they turned out to be no better than a spoon. I'd expected them to have a sharper edge to cut with, but not the case - an ordinary dessert spoon has a thinner edge!Hence he uses a spoon in preference as these do not appear to be fit for purpose. What a disappointment.

Perfect, Just What I Was After
Having had a stroke many years ago, I have always been on the look out for a decent fork/knife combo. When I found one of these, and saw the quality of them I had to have one. The reviews said how good they were and many people in the same situation as myself found them perfect. And I can now say I totally agree, they are BRILLIANT. Cutting through a steak is now a breeze, I used to struggle so much with a regular fork, and would get embarrassed when asking someone to cut it for me. They are made of quality materials, and quite weighty to, not flimsy at all, like many other fork/knife combos I've seen. Make sure you get this 4 pack, as they sell for about £10/11 each elsewhere, so £20 for 4 is a total bargain. I have one at home, one I take out to restaurants with me, and the other 2 I've left with family, so I can use when I visit them...a superb piece of kit for someone who can only use 1 hand to eat.

boat handling
eating on board a moving boat especially a small one is not an edifying experience once you start hitting the waves even small ones. So there you are lashed to the helm, your plate in one hand and your knork in the other. At least you can start shovelling food in your face - whether it stays down is another matter.

Knorks
The forks are very useful, both my Husband and I use them, and are very happy. We have both had strokes, my right arm/hand don`t move at all, and his he doesn`t use, so the forks like this are really essential. Thank you.

good
Good product I use it more than my wife does!A bit heavy and knife area not as sharp...., but I guess we knew that from previous reviews and before we purchased it. But still good to buy if you just want to use one hand.
