I always love the wood essence of the Black Lalique

Not well known ... but its one of my favourite... its up there with creed aventus and tom ford imho

Bought for my husband, his second bottle. Very unusual scent but one that people comment on. Quick delivery.

I don't often find myself reaching for this fragrance after owning it for a couple of months, but it definitely has charm and gravitas to its scent profile. Inky, earthy, darkly fresh and indifferently timeless. The cypress really does give it an astringent inky aroma, and the vetiver adds a vegetal rootiness. And then it settles into this soft, almost cozy musk and cashmere. You could probably simplify the scent profile to being "dirt and soggy woodland" but it's like liquorice, you either get it or you don't. The box it comes in is nice, though and the cap is a nice hard wood which has an air-tight grip on the atomizer, which is itself... okay. There are a select few occasions where I might wear this fragrance; mostly late winter/early spring showers where the sun's just barely shining through the clouds but this fragrance is something I personally have a soft spot for.

As dark as night, niche indeed.

Exquisite.Very elegant. More than able to compete with the big brands you will find everywhere, advertised so intensively. Not an ordinary scent, in my opinion, not the kind you'll wear daily to work. Reminiscent of the Med vibrant charm and unique fragrance, for me. First time to buy it, pleased with the product.

Great scent I’ve been using for years but sometimes Amazon doesn’t have it so I go elsewhere.
