I’ve always loved oxbow products and the critical care was VERY needed after rescuing my chinchilla Ponzu from the pet shop. She is still very young and very malnourished. The second day arriving home, she was very lethargic and going downhill fast. Luckily I have gut motility, pain meds, anti gas and critical care on hand to nurse her back to life! Since then I’ve been giving her two large syringe full daily to help boost up her strength and immune system! I was running out and thought this order of critical care won’t arrive on time as the estimated delivery date was June 9th - June 13th. However, luckily it arrived today and it’s only June 7th!! Made it just in time for my last bag of critical care to run out! Thanks so much! I know Ponzu thanks you too as she LOVES this critical care. I literally have to push her off the syringe when it’s emptied lol!

I have a 7 year old bunny who likes to drop weight very quickly. I always keep this on hand when he get's on the thin side to fatten him up a bit. I think it has a lot of good nutrition and he never leaves any behind. Great product.

I have a 12-year old spayed house rabbit named Crumpet who has been diagnosed with arthritis in her rear legs. She is not as active as when she was younger, and over the last few years she has lost about 3/4 of a pound. Along with her daily pain meds, to keep her weight stable she gets unlimited orchard hay, a small amount of alfalfa hay, a small piece of fruit in the morning, a handful of fresh veggies at night, AND a tablespoon of this Critical Care mixed with water and a little bit of baby food in a bowl. She eats every last drop from the bowl, so I don't have to syringe-feed her yet. Over the past 12 years, I have also had a few head-tilt rabbits and one guinea pig who needed to be syringe-fed several times a day for several weeks. That's when the large package is extremely beneficial.

Critical Care is a great to have on hand for any pet rabbit owner. This giant bag was great at keeping my elderly special needs rabbit fed with a nutritionally balanced diet while also getting lots of hydration. Highly recommended, especially when purchased in a pound. Apple banana flavored is also much more palatable to rabbits than the original star anise flavor.

My guinea pigs go crazy for the apple & banana flavored critical care. It has helped my elderly guinea pig keep her weight up and she never refuses to eat it - I’m so thankful for this oxbow product!
