Excellent! Just use strong pressure when sealing
Excellent product! Beautifully simple and intuitive design Pros: Major cost savings, easy to use, can customize coffee. Cons: time intensive (each cup takes about 70-90 secs, plus time to wash pods, grind beans, etc.) NOTE: seal the foil with very strong pressure to avoid issues After over 50 uses with no issues, I'm confident that this works perfectly if you use it right. The original pod's foil must be cut off perfectly - easy if you guide the blade with your thumb and forefinger. The pod's rim must be cleaned thoroughly, dried completely, and entirely free of coffee ground dust - the replacement foils may leave a sticky residue, and if this isn't cleaned off it will collect coffee dust that in turn damages the seal and causes leaking. My biggest tip: apply very strong pressure when tamping down the foil seal. Light pressure leads to a poor seal, which causes the leaking issues some reviewers report. When strong pressure is applied, the foil seal wraps around the lip of the pod and effectively seals it to prevent leaking.

Perfect for refilling
Easy to use and lets me refill with my coffee of choice. It comes with everything you need including a little razor cutter to remove the original foil from pod. When filling with I just lightly tap the pod holder on the counter to level out the coffee. The holder also has little ridges that serve as a guide when placing the foil down, then a couple of turns with the lid and itโs sealed all the way around. Iโve made 8 cups of coffee with 2 different pod sizes and it works well. Definitely worth the purchase.

Saving money one cup at a time
Iโve been using this reusable pod kit with my Nespresso Vertuo and it works really well. Itโs super easy to fill and the aluminum foil lids seal nicely. My coffee comes out strong and tastes just as good as the original pods. I like that it saves money and cuts down on waste. Definitely worth it if you use your machine a lot.

Works flawlessly with the Vertuo, but is a little time consuming
I spend a ton on Nespresso Pods and have for the decade that I've owned my machine. I've wanted to dabble in reusing my own pods but never felt comfortable with the systems that were around before. This is the first one I've seen in a while that looks relatively straightforward and uses the pod capsules I already have. Process This is a multistep process and definitely the part you need to look at to see if this is for you: 1. First step is to use the provided knife to cut open the pod itself, you'll then need to dump the used (probably moldy) coffee grounds. 2. You then need to was and dry all the pods (unless you're fine with the mold). 3. Place the pod into the actual canister and use the spoon to fill the pod with new coffee grounds. 4. Use the supplied brush to clean off the top of the pod. 5. Place the new aluminum lid on top of the pod and press the canister lid down with a twist to secure it. 6. Remove the pod and crimp the edges of the aluminum lid down. Its a lot of steps and my immediate thought was whether this was a good use of my time. This has notes of the artistic appreciation of coffee preparation, but if you're into that, you're likely not using a coffee pod machine in the first place. The quality of everything feels nice and its a solidly built tool with accessories that all do their exact job without much fuss. There is a level of messiness that comes into play when filling the pods with new grounds with little bits spilling here and there, nothing crazy and thats totally dependent on the space and how you're interacting with those grounds. Overall I recommend it as something to have access to, particularly if you've been craving a different brand of coffee or if you're inbetween orders and just need a few pods (my primary uses). I would like to see some improvements in future iterations of this like having the lid screw down to a tight pack instead of just twisting with only your pressure to tighten things down. It would be good to have the tolerance on the lid guides dialed in and raised up. As they are now, its not full proof and any amount of attention you could free from this process makes it that much more usable.

Works great for a fraction of the price
I was very skeptical about this product because the price was very good and to buy these already made is very expensive. Ground expresso is reasonably priced so to make these pods you can save a lot of money. One thing to remember is you will need old used pods to work with. This kit does not come with the tin cup to place the coffee into. You must use previously used ones. Wash them out good and dry them real good. Follow the instructions and you will find its super easy to make these pods yourself. After you have a cleaned out tin cup, put the coffee espresso grinds in the cup pat them down, put them in the container, brush off any grinds on the edge, place the sticky label that comes with the kit over the cup, put the lid on and twist applying pressure at the same time. I found it helpful after the cup has been pressed to make sure the edges are curled under as you can see in the picture. This helps keep the foil top on securely. The taste is amazing and tastes just like the ones store bought for a fraction of the price. I also add a little bit of cinnamon powder in the bottom of the cup before putting the espresso grinds in for a touch of added flavor.

Perfect way to get your favorite coffee for your Nespresso!
I love this! I donโt really like the taste of the Nespresso coffee, so I love that I can reuse the pods and fill them with my favorite coffees. Theyโre so easy to use and the tabs on the foils make them so easy not just to put on, but also to remove and reuse. The foils fit great as long as you align them properly and donโt cover the barcode on the pod. Just be careful when using the blade to cut the original foils off, I got in a groove when I was doing a bunch and ended up cutting my hand pretty bad. But I have recommended this sealer to multiple friends now, I love it.

This reusable pod kit is fantastic! It was really easy to use, and it works perfectly with my Nespresso Vertuo machine. I love that it saves me so much money compared to buying disposable pods, and it feels great to cut down on waste. The seals stick well, the coffee comes out great, and cleanup is simple. Definitely worth it if you want to enjoy your own coffee blends and save money in the long run.
