Mike Peters is a true hero in the most epic sense of the word! A brilliant songwriter, and great performer yes, but who cares? He as a human being, deserves to sainted! I couldn't name another human being that I respect more. He has been a profile in courage, both for his endless pursuit of his musical dream and his battles with cancer. If his story ended there, he would still deserve the utmost respect, BUT, it doesn't! Mike then turned his personal health battles, into a mission to serve humanity, and make the world a better place. Mike Peters has done more to improve life on this planet for people he owed nothing to, than anyone else I can name. A man of great conviction, and great personal courage. He and his wife Jules are an inspiration to all, and make the rest of us realize how horrible we are as humans, and how much better we could be if we just tried! This DVD is so inspiring, I believe every school student should see it! MIKE PETERS, you are my hero! God Bless You!

I've been a fan of Mike Peters and both incarnations of The Alarm for almost thirty years. A retrospective of Mike's career would have been awesome, but THE MAN IN THE CAMO JACKET is so much more than that. The music is a bonus to the powerful message this documentary teaches to any viewer by the examples set by Mike, his wife Jules, and the musicians and everday folks they've inspired. What was shocking for me was learning from this film about what was going on behind the scenes during Mike's concerts that I've been to. I was fortunate enough to meet him twice, and despite his and his family's battles with cancer, he put on performances of a lifetime AND managed to give each of his fans genuine time, not because he had to, but because that's who he is. THE MAN IN THE CAMO JACKET is well worth a viewing because it will stay in your heart and make you want to better yourself for your own sake and to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Mike asks the listener to give him love, hope, and strength to carry on, but the truth is, he's freely given that to us!

After being an Alarm fan for such a long time and being fortunate enough to have met Mike Peters in person a few times, this has just left me speechless. Mike and his wife Jules have overcome so much, yet continue to help others and make the absolute most of their lives. Mike has always had a presence, there's always been something special about him, and this film says more about it than I ever could. Everyone should watch this heartbreaking and uplifting account of Mike's battle with cancer and learn what being a true hero is all about.

It's impossible to not be overwhelmingly inspired by Mike's story. The endless supply of energy in this modern day superman's desire to spread love, hope, and strength with those he meets is incredible. 'Man In The Camo Jacket' is an amazing story that is well worth the money that you'll spend to watch it. Mike and Jules have been through so many highs and lows together, but their love of each other and unfiltered willingness to share their stories, should make us all strive to do more for one another, and be thankful every day we have on earth. Incredible Incredible story.
