Chi Iron works well
Nice quality iron, works well, provides lots of steam when needed. The cord length is perfect for my home and the cord retractor works very well. It glides across the fabric and isn't too heavy to use.

Rolls Royce of Irons
This is a really great iron. Kinda surprised I'm writing a review for an iron honestly. I love Chi products and know how durable they are which is why I initially bought this iron. This is very comfortable to hold, heats quickly and works very well. Lots of steam if you need it. Rolls Royce of irons perhaps?

Makes a chore into a breezeâŚ
Im a 53 y/o Gen Xâer that grew up having to have my clothes ironed. As an adult with a professional job, I still do. For years, I never knew anything about irons other than the typical $10 - $20 variety you find in most discount stores. After using those for years (and throwing them away after a few years)âŚI wondered if there wasnât an iron that didnât require 10 passes to get out wrinkles. Looked at all the types and brands and settled on this one at a mid-range price. BEST $70 IâVE SPENT! You can feel and see the difference with an iron like this one with higher voltage/heat and lots of steam! I assure you, I hate ironing and tend to let it pile up and have a whole dayâs worth before I do it (and have cheated and taken clothes to the cleanerâs for pressing at $150 - $200 per trip. With this new CHI iron, I get it all done in about half the time and the results look great! My boss even made a comment in a meeting that I was âshowing up the rest of the team with creases in my shirts you could cut a finger on.â We laughed, but I was so proud of my iron (even with my average ironing skills). It uses a lot of water/refills (becauseâŚLOTS of steam) and is a bit heavy, but worth it for the results. It is ample size, has plenty of cord length for my needs, and I like that it has the auto-off feature with a digital âbeepâ reminder if I leave it on. A long review, and a lot of gushing over an ironâŚbut has saved me time and effort (and money from professional pressing) and I would put this one in the ânear luxuryâ category of irons.

1700 watts doesn't quite seem to equate to super high temps but still a decent iron
It works fine, but I'm not so sure it actually reaches the temp indicated in the specs though. I've had several proffessional Rowena irons I use for pressing while sewing and for ironing regular clothes, so I have a decent idea of their heat and steam to compare . Steam on this Chi is adequate but not impressive. The last Rowena I had was worthless out of the box so I thought I'd give Chi a try since they make a heck of a curling iron! This gets the job done, no functional issues, but if you're looking for the super hot professional iron, I'm not sure this is it.***The cord length is going to restrict the use of the iron to a sewing table though - an ironing board is longer than the 46 inch cord. I use my iron for both, so my fault for ordering the shorter cord version. So in short, for regular household ironing needs, this is fine- maybe could use a smidge more steam. For a sewest who needs a professional iron (finding that quality seems to be elusive) this may be as good as it gets anymore.

Decent price and features, but it leaks badly
The media could not be loaded. This is the second CHI brand iron that has leaked. I purchased the first from a popular warehouse club, model 13102. While using it, it leaked from the port where you add water. I thought that may have been from the odd design where the cap swings closed like the arm of a clock. So I purchased this one from Amazon, model 13106 because it seemed to have a normal closure, plus it also had the retractable cord. This one leaked badly from the base. I left it standing upright overnight and it had a pool of water under it the next day. While holding it, I could observe drops of water still leaking. Apparently I'm not the first to report this type of problem. Isn't this something they test in their products? I'm going to try another brand that is highly rated.

Spectacular Iron
The CHI Iron is well-built and versatile, making it suitable for pressing or steaming any garment. The temperature control dial is nearly accurate, allowing you to select the appropriate setting for different fabrics (note that this may vary with other models). The steam function is adjustable, letting you control the level of steam output as needed, which is a fantastic feature. With two press triggers for spray and steam, this iron provides greater precision for detailing garments. The cord retraction button works effectively, provided the cord is straight and only has minor tangles. The titanium ceramic-coated soleplate allows for ease of use when pressing or steaming garments.A key safety feature is the auto shut-off, which prevents the iron from burning garments or starting a fire. It will automatically shut off after 30 minutes if resting on its heel, after 60 seconds when resting on either side and after 60 seconds when resting on the soleplate.Additionally, the self-cleaning feature uses steam to clean out the ports and remove any debris or dirt.**Cons:**The titanium ceramic coating can be scratched, as it is just a coating like that on a nonstick pan. Improper handling can damage it, especially when in contact with zippers, metal buttons, pins, and protrusions on garments. Exercise caution to protect the soleplate. While the retractable cord is convenient, it is not 100% reliable and may jam, preventing the plug from fully retracting. The cord can overlap itself inside the casing, which may cause it to get stuck, so it needs to be guided when the retraction button is engaged.Still worth purchasingđŻ
