This is great for needed privacy. It makes a good room divider if a bedroom is shared. I use it to divide the laundry room from the playroom. It just makes things look a little nicer and everyone can't see my stacks of laundry.Putting it together was fairly easy. I think finding the perfect curtains was the hardest part!

Curtain is not included.This curtain rod/stand is assembled by screwing together 8 and 16 inch metal tubes. The vertical poles have adjustable heights and tension spring to hold them in place. The length of the horizontal bar can only be adjusted by using or not using segments, so in 8 inch increments. Be cognizant of that if you are intending this to fit in a very specific space as I was. I'd be happier with this if it was designed like a shower curtain rod.The assembled unit seems sturdy enough for it's purpose, but it would not stand up to things like kids pulling on it or running in to it. As far as appearance, you're going to hope people notice your curtain more than what the curtain is hanging from. This looks like the pictures--plain faux-chrome tubes.

The best part about this is the fact that it comes with so many extra pieces to make it longer. I ended up not needing all of them the first time I put it together, but when I wanted to move it to a different room I was so happy that I had three long poles and two short poles that I was able to use and make it go across an entire room instead of just part of a room.Very easy to put together. Not as easy to get the tension correct on top surface (most likely a ceiling for people using this) but that's only because it requires a little bit of extra strength to be able to adjust the tension and lock the pieces into place. I ended up having to use a step stool to get enough leverage for myself, but I'm glad it takes that extra bit because it ends up keeping it much sturdier in the long run.Very nice set.

The room divider is easy to assemble. The height and width are adjustable. The lightweight bars are sturdy stainless steel that connect easily. The good value divider is versatile and can be used to hang curtains, clothes, or divide a room. The divider fits in most rooms with normal ceiling heights, functions adequately, and looks presentable.
