I recently picked up these 12x40 HD Binoculars and I'm incredibly impressed with the value they offer, especially for the price. For general nature viewing, particularly in my yard watching birds and squirrels, the Clear Large View is fantastic. The image is crisp and bright enough for my needs. The 12ร magnification is perfect for observing wildlife at a fairly close range. If you're looking to scan a distant mountain range, these might not be the best, but for focusing on a bird feeder or a squirrel burying a nut 10-50 feet away, they excel. The wide 40mm objective lens helps gather light, making the view comfortable. The Verdict I really like these binoculars. If you are looking for a pair of high-definition binoculars that deliver a clear, large view for backyard birding and general nature observation without breaking the bank, these are a superb choice. 12X40 binoculars are an excellent choice
These are great binoculars. I have many hummingbirds that are attracted to the feeders I have in different areas of my back yard. I am able to see the humming birds feed in great detail. It rings distance objects much closer. If your looking for a powerful and versatile pair of binoculars that won't break the bank, the 12X40 is an excellent choice.

Probably good for the price.
Not the greatest binoculars. I have a pair of Zeis and they do not compare but then neither does the price. They do not greatly magnify. I am using them on my porch to see the birds and butterflies. They are ok for the birds but the butterflies at a distance not so much.
