Good starter kit to get you familiarized with chemicals but you will run through the limited quantities quite fast. Not the most economical option compared with purchasing individually at a local store.

this kit is great accept the strips they send to test your water are for chlorine and not Bromine?

We bought an inflatable hot tub for Christmas and needed at water starter kit to get us up and running. We found AquaDoc bromine kit to have great reviews and we weren’t disappointed. It has been keeping our water clean and safe for over a month now with great results. We prefer the bromine instead of chlorine tablets as you don’t have the chlorine smell with bromine tablets. The test strips work well to show the chemical levels and let you know when to add more of each one. Highly recommend AquaDoc bromine kit for you hot tub application.

Okay so I bought this after reading the reviews. I was new to owning a spa once I figured out the pH levels weren't reading because it needed to be shocked. Everything's working great. I think the value for the money was perfect for me to start up my Jacuzzi. I like that the chemical content is not as high as chlorine seemed easy and doesn't make a huge mess.

Technically this stuff works but youre gling to fly through it faster than a toddler with a bowl of ice cream. In becoming a hotbtub owner in learned through both through personal experience and professional recommendations that you generally always want to use granular and avoid liquid because its too weak. On one occasion I used almost the entire bottle of ph decreaser to balance my water when it took a couple cap fulls of a professional product - throat cost the same price. Do yourself a favor. This stuff has a nice wrapper but go visit your local spa shop. I went through this entire starter set in a month... waste of money.
