You might have to return one or two of these before you get a proper one, lol. I ordered this for my STG44, and it does work great. I had to return the first one because one of the claws wasn't threaded for the screw. What do you expect for 11 bucks? But it was Prime, so I returned it and ordered another one. The second one was made correctly and fit perfectly. I think for the price, this is a fantastic deal. As for the product itself, it is short enough that it doesn't obstruct the STG44's charging handle and bolt hold open. The MP5 and G3 pattern rifles fit this rail as well.

This little guy is a decent alternative to the $115+ official mount for my Walther/H&K MP5/22. Some other users have reported having problems securing it to their firearms, but my installation was quick and painless. I put a bit of loctite on the threads of the screws, as I will not have any reason to remove it frequently. I am able to remove the cheap little red dot I installed with it and obtain a sight picture with the original irons.In summation, it's not high, kill-a-bear-with-it quality, but for a .22 plinker it's perfect. Cheap, easy to install, and solid once attached.

I usually won't review something until I've had a chance to use it thoroughly (at the range in this case) but I'm already happy with my purchase.Purchased for my GSG522 SD and it fits like a glove - very solid. As others have mentioned, this is what you are looking for to replace the stock weaver rail.Odd lesson learned- when you remove the stock screws holding down the old weaver rail on your GSG, DO NOT REINSERT THEM until you cut them down. If you reinsert the screws as-is ("as-are"? whatever), they will protrude into the upper receiver and block the cocking tube, making it impossible to pull the charging handle back.

Good fit right out of the box without any modifications. All hardware was included and the allen wrench to tighten it down. Red dot sight mounted easily, can't wait to get it to the range.

The mount fits fine on a GSG-5, except that the claw attachments are of such poor quality metal that the bend and break if you tighten the screws down too much.

Made very well, and it fits the Gen 2 GSG-522 Just take your time tightening it down, and it will work great. Mounted a IR Optic with no trouble at all.

The fit and finsh of this claw mount rail to my H&K MP5 22lr by Walther was perfect, but I did notice right away the fitment of there supplied allen wrench to the four little screws was horrible. Don't use it, your certain to strip out your screw heads thus needing new screws. I have a nice metric set of allen wrenches and used my #2 and fit nice and tight to the screw head, and I know I want my rail to be mounted permanently so I also after first very lightly test fitting went back and put just a little bit of red loctite on the screw threads before I tighten them up. I put on a Sigtac fixed 3x scope made for ARs and sighted it in quik and plus a few hundred spot on, couldn't be happier for less than $12 and free shipping even though from China only took about two weeks, 1/2 the time they estimated with a typhoon.
