Tried it out on my adventure motorcycle today, on smooth pavement and on bumpy gravel roads and trails. It worked perfectly. It stayed securely on my handlebars with no slippage; never had to adjust it. It also held my phone (a big, thick ruggedized one that I use as my GPS) securely. And there was no issue with vibration or screen readability.The mount design is brilliant: quick and easy, and makes a reassuring ratchet sound as you tighten and loosen. The ball joint gives me adequate articulation so I can point the screen where I need it, and then I screw it down tight with the locknut. The latch button to lock-in the phone makes a satisfying snap. And it's very light in weight.It really seems like a quality unit. If it holds up for many rides (while much of it is plastic, it looks like a tough nylon), then $9 makes it a great bargain.

Have tried 3 others now and this is my new favorite. Adjusts nicely and snug fit with knob adjuster. No problems reading phone up to about 20mph in bike lane on road and 10-15Mph on sidewalk. Holder slides open with ease to fit your phone. Lock in back had no problems and never came loose even over rough and bumpy terrains. Worth the price and seems it will last.

This little phone holder is awesome. It is super easy to install and remove. Is very sturdy on the bike to the point my daughter can record videos of her riding and they arent bouncy. I even bought one for the doorbell camera I keep on my boat. It attached to the ladder and keeps my camera from falling over all the time like it used to.

Easy install. Holds phone tight. Regardless of how tight tends to shift when phone is in holder.

Wasn't sure how secure this would be but have it on my mountain bike and it is solid even after a number of crashes! Easy access to the screen too. pleased

I got this holder so that I can use it on my bike for directions and sence I got it a few months back its held up well Evan after I was bumped into by a car it held well it kept my phone safe Evan after it came off because I put it on weird it looks great and doesn't have very much vibrations to it when put on right and its keeps my phone stable Evan after riding fast and hard.

I wasn’t sure about this at first, but it’s been awesome. Holds my phone tight and doesn’t move around, even on bumpy roads. Super easy to spin the phone when I need to, and the lock works like a charm.

The holder itself is well made. It holds even a larger smartphone securely. But even with the supplied shim and additional rubber pieces it doesn't keep the phone from shifting on bumpy roads. Once I attached the bracket to my handlebars tightly with the large knob, I found it impossible to remove--to add another shim--without tools. In the manufacturer's desire to make it possible to install and remove the handlebar bracket without tools they have actually made it very difficult to do so.
