I'm doing low carb and was using the Splenda packets. As I understand it, they have maltodextrin which can raise insulin. I switched to the liquid and it's got big sweetening power. I only wish the liquid were less expensive.

I'd been using the powder but discovered there is an ingredient that I did not want. The liquid doesn't have the thing I did not want and it pretty much tastes the same.
