Battery's are terrible don't last longer than the 4ah I was hoping for a little longer life but nope so I only use them for light duty, I get 2 cuts 9ft long of 1/4"plywood then frazzles out.

I have a lot of DeWalt tools with a variety of batteries that are in variable conditions. That said, I obviously needed to get some new replacements for a few of them. A two pack is great! These are great. They fit all of my DeWalt tools and hold a charge for as long or longer than the actual DeWalt batteries did. They have all of the safety features that you would expect to have; overheating, overcharge, and short circuiting. These have it all for a pretty good price. I was so glad to get these. I may have to purchase another set for some upcoming replacements. I'll be looking for these.

These 18 volt batteries fit properly in DeWalt 18 volt tools and run as I would expect them to. The fit and finish is good and over the time I've used them they seem to have longer run time than I remember on my original 18 volt batteries I got years ago that are now dying. They charge perfectly fine off of my existing DeWalt chargers, they seem solidly built and provide good price to performance benefit as replacements versus OEM batteries.

My original Dewalt batteries are not holding their charge as they used to, and I really wanted some backup batteries anyway so I can keep on working when the battery dies by swapping with the backup.I was concerned about whether they would work, but ti said in the description they were a replacement for my DC9181 battery. They do work, but they are larger than the original and thus it looks a bit odd. I also wish they had some sort of battery level indicator, even LED or LCD. Overall, they work and will do the job, but I deducted 2 stars for the reasons outlined above. (Photos show the size difference.)

I have lots of 18v tools that are in perfect condition, except for the batteries that are nearly 8-10 years old, so thanks to this replacement batteries, I can keep my 18v tools going indefinitely. These batteries work every bit as well as the Dewalt brand and has even longer runtime, especially at this price, it is a great bargain if it just lasts 3-4 years. Also, upon closer reading of the Dewalt battery label, I found Dewalt branded batteries are also imported, so I doubt the brand name has any significant advantage in quality or longevity. As far as I'm concerned as a home owner DIYer, this battery's price range and performance is exactly what I need, and not some over-priced factory brand that likely use the same cells from the same source.
