This is delicious kvass. It tasted like a malty Dr. Pepper. It wasn’t too sweet, and it was quite refreshing when chilled. It’s also expensive since it is imported, so consider this for special occasions, rather than a regular addition to your pantry.

The taste is exactly what you'd expect from fresh, high-quality kvass - just right. The cans arrived with slightly dented edges despite the solid packaging, but that’s understandable given the long-distance shipping. The shelf life was also good - I had about five months left on mine.Everything was great overall, but I have to say, the price is quite concerning. For the same amount of money, you can get significantly more kvass at Russian grocery stores. If you brought the price down by even 20%, I believe many more people would be eager to buy it!I’d even consider subscribing to this kvass through a "Subscribe & Save" option if it were available - especially if the base price were a bit lower. With a more competitive price point, this could easily become a regular staple in my home.
