tastes like burnt tar... must be good for you!!
If it tastes like dirt, it's gotta be good for you, right?! Maybe... maybe not. I really can't say what's in this stuff, but from all the research I have done this stuff is supposed to be incredibly good for you to supplement with all sorts of vitamins and minerals, etc. It's supposedly like a multi-vitamin on steroids from what I gathered. This comes with 2 itty bitty little spoons, and I highly recommend you use them. This stuff is the stickiest tarriest stuff ever. If you get any on anything, it's going to get everywhere... it will stain clothes for sure. It's just incredibly sticky... It also tastes like burnt tar, so don't expect some strawberry flavor or something like that! I have taken it a few times and I can't say I felt some immediate rush or anything like that, it just tasted bad and that was that. I think with some time you should have some good health benefits, but I can't say I have a great way to measure the results and directly tie them to this... I also got another brand that was incredibly expensive and packaged wildly, and this stuff tasted and looked just like that so I have to believe both are the same thing. Time will tell, but for the price this wasn't too bad.

Seems genuine
It passed the burn, alcohol, and water test. So far, I believe it to be genuine. It comes in a plastic jar and is only half full. The jar and it's contents, without the lid, weighs 55.7 grams. I don't know how much the jar weighs and don't intend to scoop everything out to weigh it separately. The scoops are made of black plastic. I feel like it would be better if they were made of smooth metal or at least a lighter color so you can easily see how much is on the scoop. The labeling on the jar is extremely small, blurry, and cheap looking. The small print is unreadable. I don't see why they bothered printing anything that small on it. I would highly suggest keeping the box if you want any information from it. Otherwise, it smells and tastes like real Shilajit.

"This one seems to be Pure Shilajit
This Shilajit resin is the real deal! It’s gooey, bitter, and exactly what you’d expect from a pure, natural product sourced straight from the Himalayas. Harvested from heights of 16,000-18,000 feet, it’s packed with 85+ trace minerals and 50% Fulvic Acid, making it a powerful addition to your wellness routine. I love knowing that I’m getting the purest form of Shilajit without any fillers or additives.Regarding bitterness - some will not "take it" too well - it is a very STRONG bitter taste. Some people will gag on it... There is NO SWEETENER added into the formula! Each serving gives you a potent 600mg of Shilajit, and with 60 servings per jar, it's a fantastic value. This stuff really makes a difference in boosting my energy and overall well-being. I’m especially impressed by how easy it is to use—just a small scoop, dissolve it in water or your favorite drink, and I was set for the day. I did notice some energy and no foggy brain syndrome! What I appreciate most is that it’s 100% natural and vegan, with no unnecessary junk. The included measuring scoops make sure you get the perfect dose every time, and the fact that it’s free from heavy metals and contaminants gives me peace of mind. If you’re looking for a natural way to enhance your health, this Shilajit is definitely worth trying!

I'm not completely sure this is a good quality product, hard to tell
Shilajit has been having a massive surge in popularity lately. As a vine reviewer, I've had access to a LOT of different shilajit products that are trying to break into the market. Unfortunately, what I've noticed with the vast majority of them is that they are not authentic shilajit products. Many people may have never had shilajit before, so perhaps these companies are trying to take advantage of ignorance by making products that SEEM like real shilajit...A few general things you should pay attention to whenever you buy shilajit from a company that is new to you:1) Shilajit should NOT taste good! This is a big one. A lot of the fake products I've tried have had a sort of sweet taste. Okay, maybe not pleasant, but authentic shilajit simply doesn't taste good. You might get used to the flavor over time like myself, but expect for it to almost taste like a combination between asphalt and dirt. It's not tasty and that's a good thing2) Another big one – Pay attention to the form of the shilajit you’re buying. Most fake Shilajit is offered in easily counterfeited tincture (liquid) or powder (sometimes in capsules) forms. But in recent years, the resin form has also been commonly imitated. My suggestion would be to ONLY buy shilajit in the resin form unless you are buying from a very reputable brand.3) Shilajit should dissolve in warm water, but it should take a bit of time and not be instant. If you dip a spoon of it into a glass of hot water you should see it forming little tendrils downward as it dissolves. Even if you stir the spoon around in the water for a couple seconds with it on it still shouldn't dissolve immediately.4) Shilajit has a unique pliability and viscosity to it. Typically, in between your fingers it will get soft and malleable, but put it in the fridge and it becomes rock hard and brittle. This isn’t always the case, but I’m typically more wary of products that flow more easily (like honey). Most of the good quality shilajit I’ve had is kind of like soft tree sap and will not flow freely if you tilt the jar.Now regarding this particular product:The consistency/viscosity is more runny than what I typically see in higher quality products. This wasn't an immediate disqualification, but it made me suspicious. It also doesn't get hard when placed into the fridge which is another bas sign. The taste and smell do seem to be about what I would expect from authentic shilajit, maybe not exactly what I'm used to, but very close. No testing documentation was provided, so I see no reason to trust this company. All in all, I'm not really sure on this one. It's not as clearly fake as many I've seen, but I still don't think I would recommend it.
