Smart charging for dummies!
This thing works like a champ, yes the fan is loud but to me thats to be expected. I use it with my Lifepo Battery for my kayak which is 12v 100AH. Ive used it for couple months now and its keeping this battery going good!Ease of use:Just hook up the battery first, select the mode you want then plug it into a outlet and youre off to the races (Battery size will make the charge time vary)Value for money:For what i paid i couldnt be happier, compared to other chargers on the market with the same functions this is the best deal!

Ran for a long time and saved me hundreds
So, I don't really know how this works, so this isn't that kind of review. I got a jump start from a "professional" through my insurance's roadside assistance. My engine did run after that, but my check engine light was suddenly on, and power steering didn't work. It didn't feel safe to drive around like that, so I parked and shut the engine off. It wouldn't start up again. It was a toss-up for me at that point between getting it towed to a mechanic or trying this. It tried this. I started on standard repair mode, but it said the battery was fully charged. I figured I already had it and might as well try the "repair" mode. I don't know how long that ran because I went to sleep after it had been running for 8 hours. The books says it usually runs for 4 hours. In any case, in the morning, it was done. With little hope, I packed it back up and got in my car. Everything was perfect. Completely perfect. No check engine light. No problems with the steering. No problems with anything. I couldn't be happier with this little thing. The cords on both sides are shorter than a trickle charger I used before, so be prepared to leave this one under the hood if you're going against the recommendationg and charging in situ--it's not going to reach to a table or the ground. If I had known that, I would probably have looked for another one--but I am so glad I didn't. Really pleased with this purchase.

Great battery charger/rejuvenator for AGM type batteries.
I purchased this battery charger to help maintain the AGM batteries I have in a Mazda CX-3, Kia Forte GT Line, and a Toyota Corolla. Despite it's size, it's lightweight, with a clear screen. The heat level of the charger is controlled by an exhaust fan at one end of the unit. The unit does come with a little instruction manual, but it's pretty straightforward to use. It is recommended to completely disconnect the battery from you vehicle before charging. You simply attach the red, positive clamp to the positive terminal on the battery and the black, negative clamp to the negative terminal of the battery, select the operational mode by pressing the "mode" button and plugging the device into an AC outlet. A nice feature of this charger is it has a trickle charge function to maintain your battery. The power cord length is approximately 55 inches. The unit was able to recover/restore a 3 year old battery after 2 repair sessions and currently still working in the Forte. Prior to the repair function being used, the battery would loose it's charge overnight. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great charger, but the fan is loud.
Works great! Really like that is shows me voltage and current readings :-)My only complaint is how noisy the fan is. I intend to use this in my bedroom for my cpap battery.Good news, the fan does shut off once it goes into FUL mode.

Charger For SLA and LiFePO4 Batteries
I have various batteries that I use for amateur radio field use. Some sealed lead acid (SLA) like automobile batteries and several LiFePO4 batteries. This charger auto-detects the type of battery and runs a charging cycle. The fan runs while the battery is charging and it isn't especially quiet so I tend to connect it overnight in the garage or a different part of the house.

Revived two dead batteries on day one, already paid for itself!
My battery on my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid died because I didn't use the car for a long time, and leading up to that, the battery was already showing signs of it going bad: some of the panel lighting, or the lights on the windows buttons would flicker, and the windows themselves were wonky and wouldn't work properly. I took it to AutoZone, and they tested the battery and it came back "bad", and they didn't want to even charge it initially, but I pressed them on it and it actually did charge fully.... But still came back "bad" after it was tested again. I tested it again myself with my own tester, and yup, it was bad. So I put it into repair mode with this Nexpeak device, which said it would take approximately 4 hours, but mine took much, much longer than that. It never really got to where it said "full" or "finished" or anything, but after 8 hours of Repair charge I tested it and it came back with "good", and 90+% State of Health, as well as 100% State of Charge. Put it back and my car and it worked flawlessly, no more battery related problems, I was amazed at how well this thing worked. I wish I would've known about this earlier, it would've saved me a lot of headaches. My mom broke her knee, and as a result she didn't drive her car for months, and the battery was essentially down to 0% charge. Let's just say it didn't even have enough power to light up the tester. But I put the battery in Repair mode for like 10+ hours, and was able to get it to 90+% State of Health with my tester, and 96% State of Charge, which is amazing considering the battery was essentially totally and completely dead. Put it in the car and worked like a charm. This device paid for itself and then some on day one. It's an absolute game changer purchase.
