this helped to round out a princess dress heavy costume bin so that our nephew didn't always have to wear a dress and there were more character options for play time.Quality is probably a step below Halloween costumes. The scepter head doesn't stay in the wand very well, the foam crown only has one size option with the small velcro pads. the cape has strings that need to be tied which can be dangerous for littler kids, would rather it be velrco or a clip that can release with tension

After we had so many princess dress ups, I was glad to find this king costume so brother and sister can be coordinated. It is well represented in the sellers pictures but the cape is more thin and lightweight than I thought it would be. That may be an advantage as it might not get as hot. It does tie on which is a disadvantage as that means they might need help. However, since the fabric is a little clingy, it stays on somewhat without tying the strings. The crown is comfortable and soft, closes with Velcro. The kids really like the scepter. Overall - glad to have this addition to our dress up collection. The kids love this imaginative play.IMPORTANT NOTE: small jewels on crown could be pulled off and become choking hazard.

My little girl is obsessed with being a "Queen" currently. This costume works perfectly for adding a cloak, crown, and scepter quickly and easily for play time! The fabric is a little thin and the crown is more of a thick fabric that connects with Velcro, but fits her perfectly. The scepter is a hard good quality plastic, perfect as long as your little knows not to hit anything with it!

King costume for my son's dress up chest. It's perfect because the crown has Velcro and it a soft material. It is decent quality and has definitely inspired him to delegate. He yells much more so I think it works as intended.
