Super cute!!
After my initial order had to be cancelled a few days after ordering due to lack of availability, I took my chances with 7th Avenue Store. Not only did the Ghostbusters Floating Slimer come exactly as stated, but it also shipped and delivered much quicker than was expected!! I got this prop for my upcoming Halloween party and for Halloween night. It's not very big (approx 10" x 10") but it's super cute. The cord is about 15'. It's sound activated, glows as it flows with its eyes flashing and plays the "Ghostbusters" theme song. My only complaint is that the song doesn't play long enough. Other than that, I'm completely happy with my purchase of Slimer and from 7th Avenue Store!

Works / Is Very Loud
I got this for a themed week at work. I strung it up between two pillars and turned it on (you need a screwdriver and AA batteries). It is supposed to go by a sensor but I found it only works when you tap it. Once it starts, it goes up and down the rope really well. The eyes flash and the whole thing lights up internally. The effect isn't great as you can see the inner workings instead of getting a glow. And man is the sound super loud! I ended up taping tissue over the speaker to keep the volume down. It does the first part of the song over and over when it runs.

Perfect.
Yes, The song is very short and I do wish it would play the whole song. Otherwise he is perfect . This takes 3AA batteries. He moves well around the room. This was packaged very well which came in a shipping box and the original product box. Zero damage anywhere boxes and product are all perfect. He will serve as a all year round place in my home.

Great if you love Ghostbusters-
Great for any Ghostbusters fan. My kids were really into the old Ghostbusters movies this year so we bought this for our front yard Halloween display (which is very extensive). I put only four stars because I have a few complaints1- The eyes are too bright. I think it's great for outside- but don't look straight at them when they are on or you'll end up blind2- He does not turn around and go in both directions on the line. He goes straight then goes backwards. I find that strange3- He's small. You imagine Slimer to be very big. This is a miniature version. Also, I don't like his butt cheeks- but my kids think it's funny so I will ignore that aspect. Maybe it's part of the "authenticity" of the product.A plus is that it plays the Ghostbusters song which is great. I you enjoy the Ghostbusters movies, then buy it!

So small and doesn’t work..
Waaaay too much money for this tiny thing. It lights up in the eyes and plays music fine... but doesn’t move back and forth on the line. The line is even as per the instructions. Definitely not worth $50. Maybe $15. Not happy with this purchase will be returning.

It’s Slimer! On a rope!
Slimer is lighted internally, his eyes flash and he plays the ghostbusters theme. He is suspended from a motor in his head that pulls the ghost along a black rope there are no lights apart from Slimer himself. The rope is atleast 12 feet long and there are black plastic fasteners on the line that can be used as stoppers to restrict how far he can go on the line, otherwise he kind of randomly goes one direction or the other, and he rotated around to face the direction he is moving.I just bought a second one after abusing the first one for a good amount of years, he’s pretty sturdy. We used him down the hallway in our house where the bathroom is during Halloween parties and he got bumped or knocked down pretty often and stood up well… until recently but atleast 5 years of abuse is pretty good lifetime for a plastic toy on a rope. It’s become a Halloween staple for us, we have used him outside also but try to not leave him in the rain, otherwise he’s held up fine until this year when I dropped him for the last time and his electronic guts came out the bottom.

Fun, but impractical
This thing is really fun, but not very practical. It is way too small to put in a large yard. Also, I thought it was motion activated, but you actually need to hit it or shake the string that it is hanging on to activate it. Not really sure what to do with it--basically the only way we have figure out to get it to turn on is for the kids to go over and hit it with sticks, lol. I definitely don't think it is worth the price. Otherwise, it works fine--lights up, plays music, and moves along the string.

They were a bit smaller than expected but I love them and they work great
They were a bit smaller than expected but I love them and they work great. Big hit in the neighborhood already and only up one day.

Great idea, but didn't completely nail execution.
When it works it is great. Sometimes gets a stuck on the string and does not travel well. Since the string stretches it is hard to get it tight and level. I was hoping it would continuously roam back and forth but it shuts off pretty quick and needs prompting to re-engage. Great idea, and almost nailed the execution.
