Pros - The lights are small, lightweight, and put out a good amount of light. Not as bright to me as some of the review pictures make them look. I would buy more.Cons - Purchasing longer extension cords is a must in my opinion. Unless you are planning on putting them right next to each other, the included connecting cords are worthless. I bought some 4 foot connecting cords and while trying to spread them across a large area, found myself wishing I had purchased 6 foot cords.The included screws are made from beer can metal. If you plan on installing the lights in anything harder than a marshmallow or maybe styrofoam, plan on buying some screws. The heads twisted off of some of them in my case, and the ones the heads didn't twist off, the phillips screw hole stripped out. That was when installing them in hard wood.

These are very narrow, hence the T5 size in listing. They interlock nicely and the snap clip mount for surface mounting is simple and works. I did not want ones with plastic ends a chain hooked to that would crumble in a few years. These aluminum base units can be linked up to 6 units. This set came with two US wall plugs and both short pig tails and plastic connectors so you can set up 2 separate runs. I think the single run is far better than the old 2 bulb flouescent lights, these put off nice even light.I liked these so much I bought more sets to change out all my lights in the garage, shop and barn.Update. Months later NO issues.

Great set of Lights very bright the hardware that does come with it does seem a little flimsy but they do work as the lights are not very heavy at all

These lights are well worth the money. One of the lights was damaged but the box was not damaged. Not sure how to go about asking for a replacement as all Amazon allows me to do is to fill out a form to return.As others have noted, the metal clips and screws are very poorly made. I still used the metal clips but used drywall screws and barely tightened the screws to not damage the clips. I had to bend one of the clips a little out and it broke off. It is still holding the light in but would be nice if they sent a couple extra clips.I only used one of the cables that came with it without modification. Otherwise, I cut them in half and soldered regular power wire to make them longer.These replaced an old light that had two 40W florescent lights on one end of the garage and a 60W bulb in the center of the garage. These are 2-3x brighter if not higher.Update - I did not want to return the entire shipment of these lights. I had already installed them since the damage was more cosmetic than anything. Amazon quickly and easily refunded me the price of one of the lights. The damaged product (stuff happens but seems to be too often with this situation), the ridiculously short cables and horrid hardware are the only reasons not to provide 5 stars. The latter two can be overcome if you know to expect it as I did via the reviews.

I've installed these in my basement and home office as lights for my houseplants. I've connected them to a timer and they turn on and off automatically to simulate the night/day cycle. My plants (orchids, citrus, general houseplants) are responding very well to the lights. My only issue is when the lights turn on, they release this weird chemical smell. It eventually goes away, but it's strong enough to notice. The connecting cables are also too short. Overall, the lights are great and I have already recommended them to my friends and family.

I was kind of skeptical with as cheap as these were, when I opened the package they were very slim and lightweight. So I had my doubts but when they were hooked up and turned on, got to say definitely worth the money I will be making another purchase very soon.

These work great in my shop/garage. Very bright. Simple install. Unfortunately they are apparently unavailable right now. Don't know if they will have them again, but I would probably buy more if they are. The one thing that made me not give 5 stars is that the way that I want to run them, I need another power cord. They came with two, but I need three, so I will have to buy another one. Other than that, these are great!

Mounting clips are flimsy thin metal garbage. Lights are super bright and each weigh less than a pound. Easy to install. Prongs on the 110ac wall plugs are cheap and funny looking. Oddly has 3 wire connectors to link multiple lights; (hot, neutral, ground) but only 2 prongs at the plug meaning the ground wires are useless. Two went out in the first week. Spend a few extra bucks and get the better set. I will.

Ordered 3 sets of these for a total of 18 pcs to build a grow light matrix for our greenhouse, and accent lighting for flowers on front porch. Paid $20.00 less than the current price. One of the units was faulty in that it had an open circuit between the ends so if you connected any other light to it, the linked light would not work because it could not get power (the faulty unit would still illuminate, it would just not pass power to the end connectors). I was able to solve that problem by using the faulty unit as the last one on the string.After a month, one of the switches on the power cord failed, which costs $10.00 to replace.When I compare the tint that these give out to the  LED T5 Integrated Single Fixture 4FT,20W 2200lm 5000K  that currently sell for $20.00 less on Amazon (my neighbor bought these after the price of the ones I bought went up by $20.00) they look to be identical in wavelength, so it is possible that the ones I obtained could in fact be 5000K and not 6000K.As a result I would not recommend these at the current price. One star deducted for each of the following liabilities:1: Increase in price of 30%2: Substandard power cord that is expensive to replace3: Kelvin value may be incorrectly stated.4: One of 6 pieces faulty right out of the box when new. I'm extremely happy with these. You get 6 very bright lights for the price of one fluorescent shop light you would find in a home improvement or hardware store. They are easy to install with the provided clips, and the modular design allows you to design your own lighting layout. I put 4 in a square pattern on my shop ceiling. Since it came with 2 power cords, I put the remaining 2 lights in my dark cellar. I'm very happy to see everything illuminated so well when I'm working. I highly recommend these.

As stated in other reviews, these come in very small packages. The first thing I did when I opened them was plug one in in the garage and I was very impressed with the quantity of light from it.I am planning to install the set in the basement. I have old, noisy florescent light right now and I am looking forward to a cleaner (and brighter and cheaper) light down there.These come with all the wiring required to install them. I haven't used the clips yet, but they come with screws and drywall plugs for installation anywhere.I will be ordering more of these. I have a garage I am putting up this summer and this is exactly the kind of light I will be putting in.

I was looking long and hard for lighting to evenly light up my green screen and wouldn't break my bank... Then I found these. They work perfectly for what I wanted. The only issue I have is that the cords are very short. But instead of having to pay over $500.00 for a 4 foot by 1 foot studio soft box, or $200.00 for LED lighting panels from Home Depot, these are in my price range and I can decide how to mount and support them because they are very light weight. The aluminum mounting groove along the back of them (although slightly wider than a hot shoe) may even fit in a hot-shoe mounting bracket on a light stand (just may have to use a slightly longer screw - I'm still looking into it). 6 lights for $59.99 (at the time I purchased these) is an excellent price.
