Who buys cold weather boots in summer? This guy! The price was right so I didn't want to pass them up. I bought them mainly for hunting, elk hunting in Colorado to be specific. I was a little skeptical about the promise of keeping my feet comfortable in harsh conditions, but how was i supposed to test them out before the return window closed when it's 100+ degrees outside? I decided to clear my schedule and begin the test. I bought a couple bags of ice, put on the boots (with basic ankle socks), put my feet ( with boots) into the cooler and binge watch some t.v. 4 hours later, there's still ice in the cooler but I never felt a bit of cold. I can only imagine how well these boots will perform when I wear my wool socks for the hunt. These will be my go-to for snow boots for sure. They're a little on the bulky side but I hope that changes after they're broke-in. A little extra heel counter would be nice for removing the boot, but definitely not a deal breaker. Highly recommend these boots!

Great boots. I work construction and my toes were freezing standing on concrete. I keep these in the truck if I need to swap. They keep my feet very warm. I can still monkey through trusses with them just fine. I love being able to slip them on/off quickly if I'm going in finished houses. Lacing up boots everyday doesn't seem like a big deal but when I'm late and need to run out the door, sliding these on and running makes me feel better. I work HVAC and try my best to keep pointy metal away from them but the few times I've stabbed/poked them, they haven't had any big scratches or gouges.

I've had the basic Arctic boot for few years and it's been so good that I wanted a second pair, the new Pro this time. The Pro has definately thicker material all around, which makes it warmer but also heavier. Still pretty light though. These are very warm, and not suited for temps above freezing. For just urban use these are too much, get one of the thinner versions. These are meant for heavy duty outdoor use. For their intended use as hunting and outdoor boots, these are excellent. They are long (and snug) enough to keep snow out, easy to put on, and nicely light. In the city I do use them for walking the dog and shovelling snow in the morning. They are 100% waterproof, so you don't have to worry about wet snow. Main issue with this type of boot is the complete lack of breathability. No matter how cold it is, your socks are damp after a day of use. Be sure to use wool socks or ideally wear thin wicking socks as a base layer under heavier wool socks. For a multi-day hunting trip, be sure to bring few pairs of socks and remember to set the boots to dry, as the insides will also be damp. No amount of insulation will help if you are wearing wet cotton socks and not moving (ice fishing, sitting in a tree stand). Also, if you plan to wear snowshoes, these might no be the best choice. The foot and ankle areas are pretty thick, most snowshoe straps will not fit. The lack of ankle mobility also makes walking with the snowshoes slightly awkward. For the same reason these really suck when driving, wear something else for the drive and slip the muckboots on at the destination. Overall, I am very happy with them. My first pair shows no signs of wear after few years. Sizing is snug, so order at least half size up. I am normally size 11-11.5, with Nike running shoes size 12; Muckboot size 12 is perfect with room for double socks.

Awesome boots. Nice and wide, good toe space. Good insulation. Can layer socks. Keeping feet warm and dry is critical to staying out in cold weather during a hunt. I paired with electric socks. I bought a different, popular (on Amazon) brand but didn't like them as they were too narrow. In the photos the boots are the same number size. The Muck boots are the larger, wider ones. Needed for layering socks.

besides being warm and comfortable, sliding your foot in and out is the easiest of any boot ive ever worn. at 81, my circulation isnt that great so i cant be still for hours and hours in 10-20 degree weather but for normal outdoor activity like snowblowing drive, slow walk hunting, or just out and about winter stuff they are great. my only downside is they usually last about 4 years and start to crackle.

Wear these while hunting. Keeps feet warm and dry. Soles have great traction in snow and mud.

These are a good boot. I bought them as I had a different brand which had a flat, somewhat smooth tread, which isn't the best for walking downhill in snow. These Muck boots have a good aggressive tread and a heel. They have been warm so far but haven't been out from more than hour at subzero temps. Wanna know what's missing though? The little rubber wedge on the back of the heel to help get the boot off!!! How can Muck not have that? That wedge also helps keep snowshoe straps in place. WHY, MUCK, WHY???? Otherwise, good boot.

I bought them to work at a northern site. For the winter. At a site that goes from mud to snow. Very happy with the sizing fit. Very happy with their warmth so far very warm and comfortable down to -20 C. They can be a bit of a struggle to take off but that loosens up with a bit of use. Very waterproof. Very comfortable. Very warm. Would recommend Update on the review. After a month of wearing these boots on a worksite in the north. They are good down to -20 Celsius Any colder than -20 and my toes start to feel cold. Had to bail on them completely at -25.

Great fit & very comfortable, perfect for walking the dog in cold wet weather

it's been two weeks now, mid fall so ...noot so cold outside but they are very comfortable and hot. I usually sweat a lot from my feet and guess what? not a drop of sweat in these. i will update when it will be minus 25 celsius this winter but until now, they are wonderful. A bit pricey but WONDEFUL..

Shipped right on time. Have hunted with them several times already in northern Alberta November cold and snow. They are warm and very comfortable to walk in with comfortable arch support. Camo pattern is excellent. Good grip on icy ground. This is second pair I've bought. The first had one boot crack across top after three years of hard use that caused leaks but they were comfortable enough to warrent another pair.as stated I use for November hunting and ice fishing all winter.I would recommend getting them at least one size bigger or even two sizes to allow for two pair thick socks and additional foot liner just to add warmth. If you are walking/ active they are comfortable at minus 30 but if sitting on a stool inactive you you need the two pair thick socks

Bought for son and he loves them. Definitely keeps his feet warmer when in the duck and or deer blinds!
