Deluxe Thick Padded Banjo Gig Bag - With Zippered Pouch and Strap

My mom has wanted to play the banjo all her life. Last Christmas, I bought her the cheapest banjo I could find that had decent reviews, and this surprisingly inexpensive bag to carry it in. The padding is thicker than I expected for such a cheap price. This bag has one large, round, deep, zippered pouch on the front that is about a foot in diameter. It has another, smaller zippered pouch across the front of the first one. The zipper for that one is about ten inches across, and the rest of the pouch covers the same area as the larger one. Between these two pockets, there is quite a bit of storage available for accessories. There is a padded nylon handle for carrying the bag like a briefcase, though the edges of the nylon are a bit sharp and uncomfortable to the hand when it's still new and stiff. There is also an adjustable strap on the back so you can wear it like a single-strap backpack, and a sliding pad to prevent the nylon from cutting into your shoulder or neck while you carry it. I'm not sure that a professional musician would be happy with this product, but it is ideal for casual use. I expect this bag to last us many years.

great value for the price. A teensy bit tight height wise for my basic Epiphone; but Thats with the Snark tuner on; a good bag to protect a so-so banjo. Very good size zip pouch for music sheets, with a smaller for picks and capo. All around good for travel to lessons. Not too bulky ,

The bag is better than no padding, but "thick" padding is a relative term. If you wish to pay more, you can get much thicker padding than 18 mm. However, for the price, It's a good bag. It looks better than the picture, in case you were wondering like I did before committing to purchase.

Great bag, especially for the price. Fits a Deering GoodTime 2 nicely. You'll probably have to stuff it with towels for about a week to get the kinks out of it when you get it.

It's your basic gig bag. Good enough but nothing special. It won't offer any protection but it will allow you to transport your banjo. I will eventually be getting a hard shell case.

Just what it says. A bit sturdier than expected, especially the handle.

I love this gig bag. Fit my 5 string tenor banjo nicely. The pockets on the front carries my tuner, spare strings, capo, mute, and picks with tons of extra room to spare.. The bag was comfortable to carry. Can't beat this gig bag for the price. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

It's a very nice case, holds my banjo well and protects it. It also has a pocket for carrying my tunner and picks.
