Awesome, smooth dark roast coffee that is full of flavor - a must have in the morning
I absolutely love the Caribou Obsidian coffee. It is my very favorite dark roast coffee and I consider myself something of a coffee obsessed individual and pseudo expert as I grew up in Seattle on Starbucks. This is a wonderful dark roast that is smooth and no bitterness like many of the dark coffees seem to have. I do drink my coffee with cream so it may be different for those of you purists that only drink black coffee, but this is my long term favorite and highly recommend for those who want a really nice dark roast. Its tough to find in the stores so to get it via Amazon and at such a great price is a huge bonus.

Perfect (except could be a little cheaper). 5/5 stars
My favorite kcup coffee and I've probably tried about 15 kinds. The only downside is I can never get them within 2 days, but as I'm an adult I'm capable of making the purchase in a sufficient time frame. If you enjoy good coffee that's not too bold, not at all bitter and has a nice little caffeine jolt, you'll like this.

Strong, Chocolatey, but Not Bitter. Perfect Coffee
I am a coffee snob. I normally would not even think of using a K-cup, but that is all we have at work and I do not have a good place to brew a french press or pour-over. I discovered the Obsidian while waiting in a MN airport over a decade ago. I wasn't expecting much, but it blew away all of the fancy roasts I have been paying through the nose for. It is strong, chocolatey, but not bitter. It smells wonderful when brewing. Yes...even the K-cups.

Recyclable and Delicious
Delicious I don’t use it every day I feel my own pod. However my daughter does for ease of going to work and having coffee ready. Also bought the new elite K-1. Expensive however how much do you spend if you go into a gas station every day

I don't have to travel to Minnesota
The best coffeehouse in the USA is Caribou Coffee. That's just an opinion, but an opinion I'd challenge anyone to test. When I go to the Mall of the Americas in Minnesota, the first place I stop is the Caribou Coffee shop. I don't like Starbucks coffee at all, and usually look for any alternative.Buying these Caribou coffee pods aren't up to the in house experience, but still enjoyable (not as good as grinding and brewing your own with their blend either). This coffee pod is filled (possibly overfilled) so it's not a wimpy coffee at all. If you're looking for a great strong coffee on the mild side Daybreak may be a good option for you. My best advice is to wait till it's shipped and sold by Amazon for the best price, but if that isn't an option, you may want to get your caffeine fix with an alternative seller.

a little acidic
I've always loved Caribou from the actual stores -- their lattes are better than SBux, in my opinion, so I enthusiastically bought a bunch of these KCups, only to find that they are too acidic or something... I know coffee reviews are subjective, but these leave a bad aftertaste for me... I like a rich coffee, and this is pleasantly mild compared to an Italian blend for French Roast, but the aftertaste is a lot stronger than one would expect with a mild coffee. I can't say I'm going to buy this brand for my Kurig... Maybe it's better as traditional ground coffee. I've used it in my French press and it's been smooth and yummy... sort of a #fail in the K machine. :/

I do love my Daybreak
I'm a picky coffee drinker. Don't get me wrong, not a connoisseur, just picky. This ones too strong, that ones too weak. That one tastes like a rubber tire, you know? So I was reluctant to try Caribou since their house coffee in the shop is very strong (I think they prefer to call it "bold"). But I did and am happy to say I found the one. I was drinking Nantucket and Green Mountain Morning blend and some times Columbian. But have been hooked on this ever since. Was soooo glad to find this cheaper in bulk on Amazon as a box of 12 in my grocery is over 10.00. But I paid the price anyhow. If you like a mild tasting coffee that does not taste watered down, you may like this.

Good coffee
I recently gave up my favorite fancy coffee drink in favor of a regular cup. I got this because I knew I’d need a light blend to start with. I’m still putting a splash of milk in my cup, and I really like this blend.

Alot of coffee to close to BB date
Had to many pods to finish before the BBdate. They were older stock. Im sure they would have been fine after bbdate but i wouldn't be able to get by that.
