These attic ladder hinges are for a 200 square foot tiny cabin that we’re in the home stretch of completing. I built an up-high stowaway foldable ladder that I used the hinges for. They are strong and sturdy, heavy, and well made - the hinges have made the ladder feel super secure, they stay folded and easily open with the appropriate force.

I got this hinge to be part of the hardware to fabricate a custom attic ladder for a nonstandard space.The hinges are designed specifically for ladders and are an exact match to attic ladders I’ve used in the past. That said, if it’s a wooden ladder then it doesn’t have to be an exact match to work as a repair part.The barrel is thick and rotates freely without slop.If you’re doing a new install you can mount it to a straight board, draw a line between the screws and cut the line for a perfect fit.
