Swedish bitters are digestive aids. They taste awful, but recently I ate something that caused me a lot of stomach pain very quickly. I had been told that a dose of Swedish Bitters would help remedy the problem. So I tried it. Within 30 minutes my stomach pain was gone. So while it tastes terrible, it is very effective - and all natural. So I am now a big fan!

Contains citric acid.

Swedish Bitters doesn't taste as bad as the low reviews say, if added to water. It makes me feel so much better, I don't know why there are bad reviews. I take it everyday. If you have digestive issues, this is really good to take, in my opinion. It's helped me.

I got this cuz I was told that this is very good for heartburns so it's supposed to take it away and help it and it seems to be doing the job pretty well but as for the cap it's a metal cap and could get very sticky and then it gets like almost glued to the bottle and then it makes it very very hard to open it up cuz it comes very tight so just be careful not to get the capsticky so it open up and close easily cuz now it's very very hard for me to open it it's almost like as if it was glued to the top just keep that in mind.

I got this because my regular bitters were out of stock. It’s difficult to navigate ingredients on Amazon so I will fault myself for not seeing citric acid until I got it. Since I have a mold allergy and citric acid is derived from a fungus these days, I can’t use it. It may be fine for others without a mold allergy.

I hope it works to urge my stomach to produce more stomach acid for digestion. It is somewhat pricey and I was not expecting that.
