Perfect!I do not have a bonsai plant, but I do have weed in my pots. Dandelion are now easily dug up with a tool that does not breake!I have used it to remove weeds between tarmark and walls. As the tool is rater slim and flat, it fits in the cracks. Wery neat result :-)

Not very sturdy but fine for light work and finer roots. Don’t regret the purchase because it’s much more delicate than a root ball hook and is handy for clearing light weeds in pots.

I know that's not what it's intended for, but it's very good at it. Also cat back-scratcher.

These are stainless steel but have started to rust after one use despite being cleaned and kept inside so it may be a good idea to protect them with oil suitable for bonsai tools.This shouldn't affect their usage and they work fine.

Very good value

The tines are fine enough to help dig out roots in bonsai soil with minimum soil disturbance, finer than other such tools which I have seen. The tool size is just right for the hand. The little spatula on the other end is somewhat of a mystery, but I find it VERY helpful in removing weed roots. Firmly pressing what you can get to of the weed/root against the spatula, and then pulling the weed out results in removing more of the weed, sometimes the entire root, much more easily than just grabbing the weed with your finger. Very nice. A bit expensive for what it is, but glad to have it in my bonsai tool box
