Yottoy Yoga Mat is a Better Workout Mat than Yoga Mat
Yottoy made a good cushioned work-out mat! However, it doesn't really have a lot in common with most yoga mats due to it's thickness and portability. The mat itself is somewhere between 3/4 to 1 inch thick depending on how far it inflates. This provides lots of cushion, helpful in some workout positions, but doesn't give a lot of feel to the ground, as opposed to a common yoga mat that has minimal cushion. It is the same material on either side of the mat, so I don't know where the non-slip comes from. It is less slip on certain surfaces, but will definitely move depending on what exercise you're doing, especially anything where you put full body weight on the mat at a declined angle. As far as portability, the mat comes with a nice elastic looped carrier, but it strains against how large the circumference of the roll is. I think it'll be the first thing to deteriorate. The mat itself due to it's bulk is significantly larger than a standard yoga mat roll and probably is harder to carry/maneuver to people shorter than 6 feet. Also, due to the thickness, the edge that becomes the middle of the roll when rolled is almost permanently curled, so the mat never stays flat, even when you reverse roll the mat.Overall, if you're looking for a thick workout mat that slides a bit, this is a good mat. If you're looking for a traditional yoga mat, you may want to look at something else. I recommend.

Great, thick mat.
Love the extra width and thickness (1"); perfect for yoga when you have wood floors.

Very thick and comfortable, but not sure if it functions well as a yoga mat.
This mat is super cushiony and comfortable. If you have any joint issues like I do recovery from knee surgery, you probably know that feeling of hesitation before you place your knees down on a thin yoga mat. This is so protective and gives so much comfort that I can confidently push my wrists and knees deep into mat.It is a bit too thick to travel though. It isn't easy to roll up (even as a very fit nearly 6' adult male). I like that it came with a travel strap, but it isn't very strong, nor is it easy to use. What dropped it down to 3 stars for me was that it doesn't really function as a "sticky" mat for me. I wouldn't say it's exactly slippery, but it doesn't help you stay in place at all. I will use it as a mat to stretch or do lunges and bodyweight training and for those kinds of things, I think it's really good.

Good mat for home.
This is a good mat. Very sturdy, nice thickness, non-slip, like it says in the description. This is not a mat you want to transport to a class. It is very heavy and hard to roll up. The included strap is pretty thin and barely fits around the mat, even if you roll it up tightly (which, again, is difficult).Bottom line - use it at home and you'll be happy with it.

SO comfortable
Everyone who does yoga or stretching knows how hard some positions can be on your knees, hips, or even head when on the ground. This mat is so cushy and thick, I think I could literally nap on it. The color options are adorable, I got the dark green and I love it! It is much thicker than your average mat, and being so, it's definitely bigger once rolled up so keep that in mind for storage purposes. It comes with an elastic carrying strap which is super helpful. It isn't too heavy, but certainly weightier than a normal mat. It also has good grip, I don't have any issues with my feet slipping. I got the 72x32 and its plenty long. All around a great mat!

Why is it covered in glitter?
Who makes a yoga mat covered in glitter? At least mention that in the product description so that those of us who would like to avoid craft herpes can. -100/10 do NOT recommend. It’s a thick mat, it was almost great. But there is no amount of money in the world that would make me keep it. Do you know how hard it is to get glitter out of a house?. 4 moves later I’m still finding glitter from an ex. If you’re into being sweaty AND covered in glitter then this is the mat for you.

Thick and Hard
This is definitely for your avid Yoga person. It is firm and comfortable. It is not however easy to carry around, being to thick for classes at the Gym.

Thick!
This yoga mat is much thicker than the mat I had previously! I use it in my home gym so I don't need to worry about transporting it. It works perfectly for my home gym, but it is quite heavy and rolling it up is difficult due to it's thickness. I would recommend for home gyms but not as a mat to take with you to other locations.
