A brilliant Book, highly recommend.
This is a book for life. It's inspiring and uplifting. It's for anyone who wants to improve their writing. Liam O' Flynn deserves 100% praise for producing a book that is so well laid out. It's very suitable for students who want to improve their English essays or people who would love to write creatively. I have "Writing with Stardust" sitting next to my computer.

A really good investment
I am a writer and over the last 7 years I have written 3 novels. As a writer I am always looking for creative inspiration. I have always been incredible lucky to have a creative pathway to expression, but even writers do become samey. All my novels have been written through different eyes. Sometime a woman's; sometimes a man's and sometimes through a God-like character, therefore the language has to change to suit the narrator. I was browsing the internet for new creative ways of expression and this book popped up. Realising it was sold by Amazon so had to investigate further. I was really impressed how the book was laid out and easy to follow. Although my writing is not overly flowery, but it is fiction, I have found this book incredibly helpful whilst sourcing new words and expression. You can use the dictionary, or thesaurus, but this just adds a little more flavour to ones' work. What this book is great at doing is giving examples of creative writing and highly creative writing, so you have a choice. The book is a lot bigger than I Imagined it to be and I am dipping in and out of it all the time. You do not have to be a dedicated writer like myself to own a book like this. Everyone expresses themselves in one way or another. It would appeal to spoken words, acting, song writing, poetry, novelist, creative essays or just plain old expression. What a great investment.

I love it!
I find descriptive writing very hard. Sometimes, even if I pay attention to all the details, it doesn't mean that I can find the right word to describe everything. This book does not only teach me "how to look at the world with an 'artist's eye'" as the author mentioned in his foreword; it also gives ample examples to illustrate how compound adjectives, similes, metaphors etc. can be used in descriptive genres. It tremendously increases my descriptive word power. Each topic is very well-structured. It starts with some useful vocabulary and sentences. Then, it moves on to short texts and long texts showing how the words are used. Check out 'Look inside' and read the first few pages. You will find the first 2 levels - 'basic sentences' and 'a basic paragraph' on Page 8 but there are in fact 3 more levels: creative paragraphs, advanced paragraphs and complex writing on Pages 9 & 10.I do have many other books about descriptive language, but they either give too few examples or do not put the words in context/in a paragraph. This book gives examples of how to describe similar items in different ways which gives variations. In short, I think this book is good for a wide range of writing: descriptive essays, poems, novels and so on.

Change of mind - it nowlike
Initially I didn't understand previous peoples reviews, there is no information on creative writing. It is just a grid list of words and no explanation on how to use them. Written passages with little explanation. I have lots of books on creative writing but this book is of no valuable. It is unconventional and basic information. I have started to use the grids, and to my surprise works.I had given 1 star and changed my mind now that I have used it. I wish there had been more included e.g rooms, streets but it has got me thinking more creatively and compiling my own grids.

Good book. Awful formatting.
A useful guide marred by rank unprofessional presentation. It almost as if the author couldn't give a fig. On the Kindle, the contents page isn't hyperlinked so navigating around is a constant battle. Aestically the front page is just the front, spine and back jacket. Why?An earlier comment noted these faults, remedying them would take all of 30 mins.As for the book itself, i've got little to add to other comments. It's useful and thought provoking.
