Well made and super comfy.
I purchased the model with the integrated bug net and tree straps. It is definitely a little heavier than my tranditional parachute hammock, but the comfort level is well worth a few extra ounces. The fabric is made out of a diamond ripstop which provides a little texture which i found to be softer and more comfortable than my old nylon hammock. It also seemed to cut down on static too.It is very likely that the extra weight comes from the bug net, but if you plan to take it camping the bet is all but essential. Having it attached makes set up easier and it is definitley easier to use than sock style net. I found the net to be a little oversized, extending above my ridgeline but some tie outs attached with safety pins easily solved the problem the extra size allows you to flip the hammock over and use it without the net.Not only is it nice to have the option of using the hammock with or without the net, in colder weather I slept with the bug net under the hammock, and used it to hold a poncho liner and space blacket to the bottom of the blanket. It was cheap and easy to pack, and performed better than any underquit I have ever used. The straps are also heavier than a set of amsteel whoopie slings, however I found them much easier to use. I found the daisy chains made it much easier to get a level hang rsther than constantly adjusting and checking the whoopie slings.I made my last hammock myself, because manufactured ones always seemed expensive. However, in the end it probably would have cost just as much to make one myself and the craftsmanship is better than what i could have done. You can deginitely find other hammocks that are a little lighter, however in my opinion the added comfort and convenience are well worth a coupe extra ounces.

Overall good hammock
This is a nice hammock overall. I have taken it to the Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness for a long distance hike, and it held myself and my dog well. Same with a trip to the Weminuche Wilderness, and San Juan national forest. As seen in one of the photos I use the strap to connect it to my 40L hiking pack and would do the same on my 100L bag thus keeping the room in my bag for various supplies for my long distance loops and thru-trails and you can attach the straps to that and the rain fly.It is very easy to stuff back into the pouch. Overall set up takes me 5 - 7 minutes, and tear town 2 - 4. I do wish the pouch that becomes a pocket would be able to zip inside for putting keys, phone wallet compared to dangling on the outside. However that’s just a personal preference. The bug net is very nice and superfine to prevent any type of bug from getting in, but I would classify it as fragile. My net after two trips 5 days each has several rips in it. While it really hasn’t touched the ground. I will probably duct tape it up as some of the holes are a bit big for a patch. That is the only disappointment I have run into.

Fantastic build quality for an exceptional price.
I've had the opportunity to use my Everest Hammock a couple nights now out in the backwoods of WI doing some dispersed camping. LOVE Everything about this Hammock. The straps are fantastic, the "no see-them mosquito net and elastic hanging material work exceptionally well. It's fantastic to be able to set up camp in any location regardless of level ground. It also works very well to sit in and just soak up the crackling of the fire and listen to the silence of nature when camping more than a mile from your nearest neighbor.2 thumbs up for innovative features and quality build. One tip I've learned is that when taking down and stuffing into the attached storage pouch it's easiest to just grab both of the carabiners in one hand and put them in the sack first, then stuff the rest of the hammock in behind it. No tedious folding or rolling necessary. Also Keeps the material off the ground and free from debris too.

Disappointed.
I received this product and it did not come with the premium grade carabiners (which it should have). I’m sure this is just an oversight and luckly I ordered it in advance for a up coming camping trip. I can see how this would be a real bummer if you ordered this and didn’t have enough time to get the replacement carabiners. I will wright another review after I test set up the product.

Good enough for most of us.
It's a "good enough" hammock set up especially for the price. I've been living in this hammock for a month now. Using it every day as I camp in different parks and backyards The seams are a bit messy, but none of them have ripped yet. It's a bit small for me, but if I'm extra picky about how I set it up, it works out okay. The bug net is stronger then I though and hasn't ripped yet either. I've sprayed the thing down with a bug spray that lasts a month and it keeps telling mosquitos out. The straps are a bit short, but I can usually find a tree that works. It's not as light, or Rolls up compact, or wide or as nice as other high end brand, but it's just good enough to get me by for a while.

Great design worth buying the tree straps.
Great product. Easy to set up and use. The string for the bug net could be a better quality. Not many hours in it yet but i will update my review if necessary. 100% would buy again. If using for camping/army field buy the rain fly. Ponchos are not big enough for this. I would have liked having a way to tie the bug net up while sitting in it, yes essentially defeating the purpose. I have it set up to sleep with the net but do sit in it during the day sometimes too.

This is set up in 2 minutes with the tree ...
This is set up in 2 minutes with the tree straps and the netting is 100% a must for use in Florida. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the netting ropes connect at a single point on each end. This causes the netting to be an A frame design. If there were two points of contact on each end, making the net look flat on the top, it would hold the netting walls off of the hammock more and keep them from making contact with you while sleeping which can allow you to get bit that way through the netting.

No instructions
No instructions. I never set up a hammock before, and injured myself after this thing fell. You think a $60 hammock would include some basic instructions.
