First one of these I have owned, and wow, what I have been missing! I have a slightly textured worktop which can be a real pain to clean when I make soap. This mat has changed everything. You can cut on it, drop hot jugs of soap (or whatever) on it, and when you are done just run it under the hot tap for a few seconds. I got the largest one and I am glad I did, it will remain out on the counter, permanently!
