The Khyam Sun Canopy is an absolute bespoke piece of kit that hasn’t had any amendments for a fair few years now, simply because it has been perfected and suits most Campervans and Motorhomes which have a fixing height between 185 and 225cms. The front steel poles are made up of three sections, which are swaged to connect one pole to another. We have produced the central pole to be slightly longer as this provides a slight apex in the roof. There is Velcro around the sides for the optional front and side extensions to connect. The great aspect of this is that it allows for an enclosed room. The Sun Canopy has been designed to be as versatile as possible. Sewn along the rear edge of the Sun Canopy is a 6mm beading/Kador that will slide directly into an awning rail or channel. Not the best
Why are there no ties to hold it to pole s for better support?why are there no eyelets in the skirt to peg down?.only for light use.not in windy conditions.. this items design may not have altered for some time.but it could be bettered..plastic rings and toggles!...come on.... expensive....item...shop around..

A great bit of kit
We got this purely to provide a bit of shade when sitting outside our van. Loved how quick and easy it is to put up and pack away - light weight and folds up nice and small. We're now looking to buy the sides and front so we can use this as extra living space if we're away for just a couple of days rather than have the faff of bringing our big awning. Love it.

Won't withstand wind
Easy to put up, but not very good design on pole to canopy, kept popping off with wind, had to use ropes to stop it

Bought for my Trigano pop up caravan
East to erect. Fairly sturdy, but suggest taking down in high winds. Try to have a forward drop on the roof to prevent rainwater pooling. Also bought side panels to go with it. Again easy to fit with valcro fastening.

Love this. Works really well with my Bongo. Bought the 8 strip as well, and was up and on in minutes. Takes a bit of practise placing the sticks in the right place if it rains! Had super heavy rain one night and all collapsed. Moved the poles in a bit, and all remained steady after that. Highly recommend.
