Sturdy and I easy to use. Makes preparing corn for recipes quick and easy.

The only thing I managed to cut was my thumb .I tried a couple of different ways to make it work. It just cut the top of the corn off or gouged in to the cob. We had 5 dozen ears to freeze. I thought that this would be a great idea. Boy was I wrong. I ended up using a knife just like my mother and grandmother did. Don’t waste your money.

Awkward and difficult to use

This is a great addition to my kitchen. I have been using a knife to cut off the corn kernels, but this is perfect and easy to use. It does well in the dishwasher, or you can hand wash.

This has a very sharp blade not for me I’m afraid I would cut my finger. I think it would work better if stub was still on corn cob

Bought this to help with canning corn. It didn’t work at all. Waste of money.

This was something of a disappointment. After husking some corn I used this to cut the kernels off for a corn dish. I had to be very careful because it was awkward to hold the cob steady while pushing the stripper along. I had trouble trying to keep it even and to get the kernels without cutting too far into the cob.The long handle is a bit of a disadvantage since it makes it a challenge to do this.After stripping a few ears of corn I gave up and went back to using a sharp paring knife for the rest.This stripper isn’t the worst I’ve tried, but it’s not thee best either.
