This tire fits many wheelchair rims with PLASTIC SPOKES for wheelchair manufacturers like Drive, Medline, E&J, Invacare Tracers and many others. Always check your rim and see if there is a hole for valve stem. If NOT this tire will fit on it. NOTE: Price is for a set of 2 tires. Tire Installation tool may be needed to install on rims as this tires are 2"-3" smaller and need to be stretched out to have a good compression on rim and avoid roll offs

Not easy to install
Excellent product actually delivered on time. Very well made, after looking on line to install. Tried just installing hard to stretch. Put in boiling water for about 45 minutes, went on easy. Not easy to I install but will never come off.

It takes two people to put these tires on the rim.
These tire fit perfectly on my wheelchair. They make a little noise when I move around. The tires have an acceptable amount of noise.Replacing the tires take a large amount of effort. Reviewing YouTube video is very helpful. There is a tool that can be purchased or made at home that can be used. We substituted a broom handle to help in stretching the tire on. You start by placing the tire on one side of the rim and using a tool to help with lifting the tire on to the rim. Stretching the tire is the hard part. It is best to view a YouTube video and getting the theory on how to put the tire on, it can be done.It takes one person to hold the broom handle which can roll instead of sliding onthe tire. The second person turns the rim to put the tire on.It takes two people to put the tire on.

The ONLY review you NEED to read!
Let me start by saying how shameful it is that so many sellers try to prey on the disabled. Verification pure evil does exist all around us.In a nutshell, Do Not Buy This Product. I bought it. I tried every method of installing on my Invocare 24” Plastic Spoke & Rim 21.75” Push Wheel. Even while not using the chair they pop back off. I am returning them today.I gave this product 5 stars because a 1 star review would go to the bottom of the reviews.Long version, I read 100+ reviews on push wheel covers. I read different ways to install them. I watched videos. I tried each different way and they still would not stay on the chair. The studs that mount the push wheel onto the rim of the wheel does not allow the cover to wrap around to to top of the push wheel. Therefore the slit in the cover is around the backside of the push wheel. In order for these to stay on the slit should be on the inside/bottom of the push wheel. I thought of cutting a slit at each stud to allow the cover to push around further, but I’m not sure they wouldn’t tear and I wouldn’t be able to return them.I’m a quite capable disabled man. I have good common sense and mechanical skills. I had a fully capable man to assist me. We tried simply forcing them on using zip ties to hold it as we went. It popped off 10 minutes after the zip ties were removed. We tried heating in boiling water for 15 minutes. They popped off. We tried leaving the zip ties on for 24 hours. They popped off.I put a lot of time and effort into making these work. Because if they would stay on, I’m sure I would like them. The grip would be amazing. I’m not giving up on the concept. I will keep researching and trying other covers until I find one that works. I will post updates of my progress.I will be adding photos shortly.

24 x 1 Universal Flat free Polyurethane tire.
These tires replaced the old ones on a wheel chair. It was relatively easy to put on. They are working just fine now. I would recommend them.

I thought I could install them myself, but I was wrong.
I bought these fully aware of the difficulty others has installing them, but I’m much handier than most and thought I could manage it. Nope! Finally I broke down and bought a $30 special tool just for installing this type of wheelchair tire, placed it in the vice as recommended, and lubricated the tires and rims to make them easier to slip on. Still no way I could do it. I enlisted the help of another sturdy guy. Even the two of us working on it together couldn’t get these tires on the rims, though we did manage to rotate a very, very heavy workbench with the pressure we were applying. I even tried to soak them in hot water to see if that might help them stretch, but it did not. These tires simply do not stretch the way others I’ve seen in instructional videos do!Before buying the special tool I called a wheelchair place to ask if they could do it, and they said they only order new rims with new tires on them because installation is so hard.

Difficult to install with out proper tool
Product was as expected however if you don't know product shows up at 19" and you have to stretch it on to a 24" rim, it is in your best interest to purchase the proper tool to install this with

No Flats
After my m-i-l passed away, we put her wheelchair away. Only a few months later I moved it and found the tire had split. Looked like I could fix it so I purchased this tire. I soon found out I needed a tire stretcher to get it on over the rim. Simple "man power" was not enough. I had to find a wheelchair repairman to mount it for me. The material is strong and flexible and should last many years.
