We have been using the knife everyday since receiving it and honestly I had no hesitation giving 5 stars! The quality is great yet it is light to handle. We have used the knife for cutting soft food, raw foods and cooked meats. The knife has a nice edge that glides through foods making it super easy to cut. The handle is solid but light and is comfortable to grip. I also compared it to one of our Henkle knives and found the AllStar Knife cut the meat with greater ease. I am delighted with my AllStar Knife and highly recommend it.

I love to cook but I never really paid attention to the quality of my knives. Only when one of my guests asked me for one when making a meal at my home, and asked for something better than what I gave her, I started to think that maybe my knives weren’t that good… One of the indications that the knife is dull, my guest said, was how much you cry when you chop an onion. I always cried, but didn’t know there was a way around that. I never knew that a good knife would spare me from tearing up in the kitchen. This knife is just too awesome to describe!!! The quality of this knife is worth every penny. I cook a lot and have found that the knives I usually use need to be sharpened every week. I've been using this knife for over a month now and it's still as sharp as when I first got it. I am very happy with the quality and the size.

This is my first "big" knife and I'm pleased with the choice, it's very sharp and so lightweight, I'm a petit person so it is also the right size for me; I also loved the box it comes in.

It is sharp but not the Amazing knife I was looking for. Also feels pretty cheap for the high price. Works well for some items. Tried to cut a acorn squash with it though and that didn't go so well. It's better than your average cheap knife but it not what i would consider to be a $100 knife.

This knife seems too light! But the quality is there and BOY IS IT SHARP! Great quality knife and addition to my kitchen. This one knife will replace 4 in my kitchen. Thanks!

This knife is nice, but the weight of it threw me off a bit. It's much lighter than my steel knives, which means I adjust my grip and cutting motions a bit. Overall a good knife.
