This product definitely softens the texture of my skin. I use it twice daily, followed by sunscreen/moisturizer in morning, and night moisturizer before bed.

The first thing you might notice on this is the price tag, particularly for a single ounce. That's not unusual for quality ingredients. That and it's holistically formulated. It's also a London company so I kind of expect it. I did have concerns about authenticity as I saw prices all over the place, but it's $86 and appears to be direct from Osmosis here and the same price as direct. Immediate cons for me are that the lot number doesn't pull up and it doesn't show how many months to toss it. It is cruelty free, but I thought all US sold items had to have a stamp of when to toss to prevent germ and bacteria growth. It is a sampler, so perhaps that's different. Instructions say to shake it very well, and I do every time I use it. I don't think it's really all that thin myself. Perhaps it's because I am sure to shake it up. I only use 2 pumps and think this will likely last me a couple of months. I haven't seen huge results, but it feels nice. It has a citrus scent, which my cats hate, and I always wash my hands, but I feel like that added citrus is helping tone and give me a cleaner look. The full ingredients list isn't bad and has a lot of goodies, but there are a few concerns for the face. The ones I would worry about are alcohol and denatured alcohol but I'm sure those are for antimicrobials. Also in this formulation for the face of slight concern is the grapefruit and lemon fruit peel oils. They aren't doing much in the wheelhouse of vitamin C and instead are just oils to make it smell nice which can be irritating. A non issue for me. I always use clean hands, two pumps, and shake well. I'd get this again if I continue to be thrilled with results. I do add a sunscreen because the oils can be phototoxic and irritate when in the sun and daytime. I'm still checking the lot number so I'll update if anything changes in the negative but appears authentic otherwise. Water, Phosphatidylcholine, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat., Niacinamide, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Ubiquinone, Glutathione, Ergothioneine, Thioctic Acid, Beta-Glucan, Pyridoxine HCl, Astaxanthin, Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract, Lactic Acid, Panthenol, Fulvic Acid, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Santalum Austrocaledonicum Wood Oil, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Tocopherol, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Extract, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Alcohol, Citric Acid.

I was so excited to try this out but when I got it I was a little disappointed. When something has a luxury price you expect it to have luxe packaging. It just felt very light and plastic-y. So I decided to use it as part of my night time skincare routine and only used toner and moisturizer that I use all the time so that my opinion would not be effected. There was a scent but it didn't bother me. I used two pumps of an amber colored gel that spread over my skin so it was very easy to use. My skin felt fine. So far, so good. And then it happened. My skin has been very sensitive lately and when I saw a couple of the ingredients like witch hazel, I grew worried. The little bumps that come and go on my face depending what I use were back with a vengance and my cheeks were bright red. I was forced to wash it off and I was so disappointed. I can't say if what type of skin it is good for. I just know it didn't work for me

I did a little research prior to trying this and it's very interesting how they found alternative ingredients that do the same thing as Vitamin A, but in a more natural and less harsh form. While I don't have sensitive skin, I like how gentle more natural skincare lines are. I use actives and I always follow up with naturals to give my skin a break. Out of the bottle, it has a bright, natural citrus scent. It glides on smoothly with just one or two pumps and absorbs quickly; which I love. It gives an immediate glow, though full results will take time. It doesn't necessarily hydrate, but it doesn't dry me out either. I use it for the antioxidant support and vitamin A alternative mainly. I’ll update my review if I notice more changes. My only minor gripe is that it contains niacinamide and so many skincare products already include it. So, if you aren't careful, you can easily apply to much and do the opposite of what this serum claims to help with; which is barrier support. I won’t dock a star for it, but it’s something to consider. Update 3/30/24: So I have noticed my skin looking better because of this serum BUT! I got curious and held the bottle to the light and the actual bottle is only 2/3 full of product! When you pay this much for a bottle, you should get the full thing. The amount listed on the bottle is what you get, but big bottles with little product feels dishonest. That's why I knocked this down from 5 to 4 stars.
