YuKaiChen Mens Corduroy 7" Shorts Drawstring Casual Summer Shorts with Zipper Pockets and Side SlitsIt's quite debateable these days as to exactly what Corduroy is.These shorts are listed as Corduroy but when compared to authentic Corduroy trousers I already own, these are noticeably of a much thinner, less dense material. As such I would say they are more Corduroy style.As already mentioned the 100% Polyester material is quite thin overall and even to the point of see-through where the ridged material is at its thinnest point.It's refreshing to see shorts on here offered in actual waist size rather than merely S,M, L etc. As such, the size 34 I chose are a perfect fit, so no guesswork required.. just order your usual size.These shorts have your typical elasticated waistband and a bootlace looking drawstring for tightening, a tried and tested method that works well as intended.The 2 fairly deep front pockets are lined with the same material as the shorts so feel a bit more robust than those lined with a flimsy wafer-thin cotton type material. They are zipped as well which is good for keeping your phone or loose change in place without fear of it dropping out unexpectedly.The one rear pocket is open.Style wise these shorts look ok, certainly if you like that Corduroy look.They are roomy enough around the legs to allow comfortable movement and plenty of air flow.My wife said they looked a bit loose and unflattering around the rear end but that's probably just because they're new as they felt ok to me.I would have liked a thicker material for the money but these shorts are comfy enough to wear, light and airy and are a perfect fit.

These corduroy shorts are comfortable for summer, and also surprisingly very unrestrictive of my movement and cool to wear.I go the size 34, and they fit really well so I would say they are true to size. They have both an elasticated waist and also a drawstring to tweak the fit. The pockets have zipped closures, which is great as I can store things in there without worrying they will fall out.

These arrived in a zipped plastic bag. Corduroy is not a fabric that I would normally associate with warm weather and shorts. While it is usually made with cotton, corduroy can also be woven with blends of polyester and cotton or even full polyester, which the case here, made of 100% polyester.The fabric feels light and really comfortable. Machine washable they are easy to care for. These shorts are a good fit so I’d say they are true to size. They have an elasticated waist and drawstring for a better more comfortable fit. The legs are quite long, falling down to above the knee and they have a couple of zipped pockets on the side. They seem well made with strong stitching.They are available in a wide range of colours to choose from.At £14.99 (after applying a £4 off voucher at the time of writing this review), they are reasonably priced and will certainly get much wear.

These shorts are really good quality, very well made.There's no loose threads, the strings can be pulled tight and into a bow if you wish.The material is nice and soft on the skin, not irritating at all, just the right thickness to be lightweight but warming.These shorts wash well with no colour fade, they don't shrink in the wash and they dry nicely too.They fit well and just as expected if you go by the measurements stated.The colour is lovely, matching well with many a top, they make a lovely, smart casual looking outfit.Highly recommend.

This is a set of Corduroy Shorts. Mine were the 'Greyish Blue'.The fit is on the generous side, so if you are on the cusp of two sizes, then you should take the lower one.The material is 96% Polyester 4% Spandex. I would have liked to see a more comfortable cotton mix.The material is quite thin, and you can kind of see-through it when held up to the light.Stitching is fine, but as seems to be normal these days, there were a number of stray thread ends on show.I had to cut those off with a pair of scissors.The top is elasticated, so even without the draw string, it should stay up.There are two zipped pockets at each side, and an (unzipped) rear pocket.Wearing the shorts writing this review on a warm summers day, they feel OK - maybe slightly sweaty.Price is perhaps on the high side of expected, but not unreasonable.

Now the weather is getting warmer, I needed some new shorts for the summer.These shorts are well made I find them really comfortable to wear. They looks a bit more stylish than some of my shorts, so can worn for many different occasions. Whilst the material feels nice and soft, they feel a bit warm on, so will suit being by the beach as it's always a bit colder there.I also like the zipped pockets, so I won't easily loose things like with other shorts.

Unfortunately I really didn't like these. The fit isn't too flattering as they open too much around the thighs. The quality is poor too, the fabric feels cheap and thin. Perhaps a different colour would hsbe been better but I personally wouldn't recommend these.
