This captain's hat comes rolled up in a plastic jar. The bill has a nice preformed curve to it. The embroidery is sharp and crisp and I don't see any loose threads, the quality of the sewing and embroidery is just fine. It has a plastic size adjuster like a baseball hat. The white material for the hat is a bit thin, which should be just fine on hotter days. How durable it is though is questionable if used regularly. Would make a nice gift for use for a costume but probably not durable enough for daily use.

I bought this hat for my brother-in-law that just purchased a new boat. It was a surprise for him, and he was thrilled. The hat fit great and looked even better. What a great item.

This hat comes rolled up in a small cylinder, but surprisingly once you hook the strap together it keeps it's shape and isn't all bent or creased. It's actually not as cheap looking as some Halloween costumes. I only needed a hat that was shaped like this one, so plan on removing the patch, and yellow string.

This Captain's hat came rolled up in a tube-type container which made it very wrinkly. Even when trying to manipulate it to look a bit more tailored and fitted (as in the product description), it still looked pretty frumpy. I had my goofy buddy model it for me at a campsite so I could take a picture (see photo).This is a novelty item and I didn't expect it to be anything more than that, but I did expect it to look reasonably close to the photo in the description. For that, it fell a bit short. If you get this, try steaming it to take the wrinkles out and then try shaping it to look a little better.

Like most people, I got this hat for a specific boat ride we were going on with friends and thought it would be funny. Everyone loved it and I'll definitely​be holding on to it waiting for the next boat trip.Absolutely worth the price and better than expected quality.

This is an inexpensive and easy Halloween or themed-party costume. I also got the Navy Sailor Costume (sailor hat and scarf) so that my partner and I will have matching outfits. The quality is average and within expectations for something of this price range. Stitching was neat and straight. The material is on the thinner side; a little thicker would have help the hat stay in shape better. Shipping was quick.

I first have to make mention of how this hat arrives. It is curled up and in a screw top container. I just had to giggle with that. It will actually make it very easy to store in the container, which is what I plan to do.The hat itself is surprisingly comfortable. There is a snapback on it so you can fit it to the size of your head. I've never worn a captain's hat before, so it wasn't sure what I was going to expect, but it really was comfortable. It felt like it wasn't going to go anywhere in the wind either. This is going to be great as I captain a Dragon Boat every year and I've always wanted one of these hats for the race.My head has a 60 cm circumference and I still had plenty of room on the snapback of the cap.

Pretty good for the price point. Has a good fit and looks like decent quality. Will need to steam to get the wrinkles out.
