I’ve had my fair share of frustration trying to find a USB-C adapter that properly connects my MacBook Air to my 4K monitor. Great little handy hub, very sleek and stylish and has many ports. I have been using this with my Mac and have found it super handy because the Mac has a lack of ports. My only downside is that it has only 2 USB ports, I wish it had more.

I’ve been using the UGREEN USB C Hub 8-in-1 for almost two months, and it works great. The build quality is solid, and the aluminum design looks sleek with my MacBook. All ports—including 4K HDMI, SD/TF card reader, three high-speed USB-A/C ports, and 100W PD—perform reliably. The 30cm cable is convenient, and it handles charging, data transfer, and video output smoothly. Its competitive price makes it an excellent value. Overall, a versatile and reliable multiport adapter that I highly recommend.

I did a whole bunch of testing of the various different ports with a number of different drives, including a Samsung T7 1TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), a Crucial X8 2TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), and a Samsung 500GB SATA SSD. It looks like the limiting factor in these tests was not the USB hub, as I got roughly the same speeds for the drives plugged into the Hub as I did when plugged directly into the actual USB-C port on my computer. However, I have proven that the hub supports higher transfer speeds by testing the Samsung and Crucial drives at the same time. There was a small performance loss, but not much and overall data transfer speeds were higher than I got when I tested just one drive at a time, or when testing one drive plugged into the computer's USB-C port. See the picture for details. The build quality is good, and I thought this was good value for money. I cannot comment on the charging capability, because I don't have a high powered device that will utilise the full 100W PD, but it seemed fine for lower powered laptops.

Really good - low profile, pass through of usb data and power from my 100w charger with no issues. While the other ports claim no charging, you can actually still charge devices at low voltage with them. Allows me to power my laptop and portable monitor easily using just the one cable, while still having 2 USB C ports to charge my headset or connect thumb drives/dongles. My little WFH office in the kitchen is much more low profile as a result!

Good quality hub, works great with M4 Mac mini

Returned this item as it had a faulty SD card reader. Tried a few different SD cards, the reader said I/O error when trying a copy test from all SD cards to laptop SSD. Using a separate SD card reader all my SD cards were read fine, and copy tests were successful. All other ports worked fine. Sturdy build. And nice looking. Shame that one faulty port let the whole thing down.

Really great hub. I bought it for the Gigabit Ethernet and because I needed also one that charges the phone in the same time. I use it to share my Phone's Internet with a Wifi Router in the house via the USB-C >> Ethernet cable >> Wifi Router. The extra PD USB-C Charging is providing energy to charge the phone, otherwise will run out in a couple of hours. The internet speed is indeed fast in this setup and stable. I basically run my phone as a non-stop internet modem for the whole house. So all in all a very solid device. I'm thinking to order another one for the office.

Che dire, ugreen è una garanzia e sinonimo di qualità! Molto bella esteticamente, elegante, super compatta e funzionale per chi ha solo porte usb C sul proprio computer. Personalmente avrei preferito una scocca ruvida e non liscia per evitare che si graffi facilmente ma super consiglio questo prodotto, come tutti quelli della UGREEN che hanno un'ottimo prezzo in cambio di grande qualità

Baita aparelho, aguenta 1080p acima de 60hz (no meu caso 75) e 4k a 60hz. Conectividade rápida e não aquece.
